  1. Jimmy, that smile on Stanley's face! Tooooo much of content! Many happy walks and licks!
  2. Don't show Mapisa-Nqakula that. She add then to our air force's other dust-gatherers...
  3. Meat is murder. Vegetarianism is GBH: grievous broccoli harm.
  4. I used to be told that about Labs too. Sure they do like digging, but not all the Labs I have had have been bad diggers. My current digger is a St Bernard. And she's not so much a digger as an earthmover... But, ja, I reckon boredom is largely to blame. Lots of toys in the garden might help distract a beagle a bit.
  5. I've only known two people with beagles, and the only hassle they both had were that both dogs had a tendency to run off and couldn't be hailed back. Don't know if that's a thing with the breed though.
  6. Saw this outside the local yesterday arfie...pretty cool, I thought...
  7. That's a Silverback Zero. It was a commuter-type bike they brought out some years back. I should've maybe shaved the cable guides off the frame, but it was done on as much of a whim as it was on the cheap! Haha! Will keep an eye out if any large frames come up, mate!
  8. Squamish is doing great! Still just crazy about his ball! Lives for it.
  9. Don't need 'em, but I couldn't not have 'em...
  10. Did this cheap and nasty with a tin of hammertone...
  11. At the risk of Ghost-spamming this thread, here's a pic I like. I like his scarf - which is actually a hair band-type thing we got in Clarens...
  12. Hahahahaha! I got through some other books in the meantime, but based on wht you've written, I'll give the Puppy a squizz.
  13. These kids are hanging in there... http://www.timeslive.co.za/local/2016/05/19/Schoolchildren-clinging-to-taxi-caught-on-camera
  14. Ghost seemed to be a good luck mascot for my son Breandan's rugger team, who ran in nine tries (it actually might have been more...) yesterday...
  15. Try get hold of the dude who did the spark plug fix on another thread. He's resourceful and probably cheaper than an official dealer...
  16. No, I didn't! Must confess, I only latch onto series much later than the rest of the world! Haha! Is he involved in the production in any way?
  17. The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch. I had to go look up tat subtitle of Good Omens. Pratchett sure knew how to stretch out oddity! Haha!
  18. My fave Pratchett is the book he wrote with Neil Gaiman: Good Omens. Like has been said, he's cool to dip into every now and then, but I've never been that into his stuff. Managed to get a signed copy of something - the truck book, I think - of his for an Xmas pressie for my boet some years back. He'd made an appearance at the Exclusives in Eastgate. Any Gaiman fans here? Got some comics he wrote - quite a bit of Sandman stuff and works with the weird Dave McKean - but he's another writer that I have never quite gotten into.
  19. No all of us want to see that section... No bloodlust or anything, we're just genuinely interested...really
  20. Sit! Stay! Stream...?
  21. That looks like Dennis Hopper...
  22. We'll present what's said on the topic in point form later...
  23. I'm glad he didn't pull the plug on it...
  24. I wonder what bright spark thought of that...
  25. Scar wearing a winter face this morning...
