Finally got my hands on a Mobii Motion. I want to thank the guys at Mobii for having me over for 4 hours. Thanks for the Coffee! Thanks Roderick, Brendan and the other guy ( I am crap with names) thanks. One day when mobii is a fortune 500 company I can say Roderick made me Coffee. Seriously, if you are in the market for a computer whether it be for running, cycling, sailing, motor sport or sky diving (yip sky diving) then do yourself a favour and take a look at the Mobii Motion. If you are in Cape Town try and give the good folk at Mobii a visit I am sure they will be more than happy to give you the low down on the Motion and its amazing software. Just a heads up, Brendan speaks really fast so pay attention as I imagine his thoughts are in binary. I would like to tell you more about the the mobii but I am afraid I will not do it justice. buy this if you feeling patriotic but seriously buy this if you want the best. I will have to wait till the end of the month before I can afford one these babies. Its funny how few people actually know about mobii. Even my LBS was in the dark.

Builders, LBS and the local tackle shop, three shops my wife would like me to stay clear of. My friends call me "The Perfect Customer".

I highly recommend a bike fit. You will be very surprised at the outcome. A good LBS usually have Test saddles. Ask your LBS.

Thanks Mobii! That answers every question I could throw at you. Definitely going to shop one. Is there a preferred brand/make/model cadence sensor that works well with the Mobii? Are there any retail outlets stocking the mobii?

Thanks Nick for the effort.. You gotta love the hub @ Mobii If I purchase a mobii would I have to purchase a cadence sensor separately? I cant see how the built in accelerometer will be of any use recording cadence if the mobii were mounted on my bike, please correct me if I am wrong. thanks

that is very cool. I do not have a cendence sensor for any device. does mobii have a cadence sensor of its own, If so does it work better than say using a Polar Cadence sensor? I am very interested in getting a mobii that is why all the questions. Thanks

Correct me if I am wrong but sites like want it all include all cost in the price you see. I purchased DJ console from Take2 which was sourced from the states and only paid the price that was advertised. No Vat and no duties.

I dunno, PnP is just as bad. Every time I pop into Pnp it is a XT front Dérailleur. End of month it is at least a XTR rear Dérailleur and XTR 9sp Cassette. I don't know which is more crazy, the price of food or components. And then there is Electricity! Got me some chickens to supply me with eggs. Starting with the veg and herb garden next. It is the only way.

Just in time for summer.
