  10. Thanks guys.... I will have to take a closer look at both helmets.
  11. Advice needed specially from people who used both makes or brand of helmet. I am at a cross-roads. Need to buy helmets but cant make up my mind. At these prices I only want to do this exercise once. The Specialized S-works R2400.00 Rudy Project Sterling R1300.00 Bare in mind I need to buy 2, 1 for the wife too. Price got me leaning towards the sterling. I haven't fit either on yet but I like the look and style of both. Is the R1100.00 price difference of the S-Works really worth it? The helmets will be used majority MTB and a bit of road. Any advice appreciated. Thanks

  14. mmmm good point. He should have made use of both lanes, approach wide then turn in and aim for the apex. Maybe its something we can look forward to in his next vid.
  15. He can definitely handle a car but he is obviously arrogant and looking for some kind of street cred. Even before watching this Video I would never cycle or jog that road. Its damn risky when cars are going 60kmh let alone 180kmh.
  16. Do it yourself or pay. Part of the cost is just providing the service.

  22. My 13 year old nephew a couch potato of note purchased a pbb for R200 at a shopping center with cash that he had saved. What makes matters worst is that early that day we went to a store that sell cheap Chinese goods and they were selling them for R8.00 but were sold out. The kid just needed to have one and I told him the bands are k@k. Seems to me it has become a fashion statement and below is proof of this. http://www.crazybands.com/images/promote_1.jpg
  23. Yes but no cycle lanes from CT to Kenwyn. Have to take my chances with the Taxis.
