  1. We ride this route fairy regularly and it is a well used track for riders in our area. I do believe it was not a crime by chance and we were targeted as cyclists. There were 2 guys who held me up the first one had a gun to my head and he was very quite and purely focused on keeping the gun on me. The other guy had the knife was the aggressive one screaming and threatening me and he stabbed me in his rage even before he took my phone etc . I never resisted in any way and still that did not help .

  2. Even if I was armed there is no way I would of even had time to reach for it. It happens so fast as they jumped out if the bush in a well camouflaged area and before I could blink I had a gun to my head. With being cleated in and hands on the bars you are helpless. And I do believe if they found a gun on me I would not be here now. They are pro's and know exactly how to use the element of surprise . And with the barrel of the gun against your head you are not going to move. TRUST ME

  3. Foxie was the bike still under warranty? Even if it was I don't think it would ever have crossed my mind to call a store in Joeys (considering the race is in KZN) as I just naturally assume they would say 'well what do you want us to do".

    Pleasant surprise

The Bike was still under Warranty and it is a great bike, suppose I was just unlucky. I just called the shop to let them know what bad luck I had as know the guys there pretty well so is was just to inform them on the race. I never expected them to go to all that trouble. But they did and did everything possible to get me going again.

  4. This past weekend at the Berg and Bush day 2, I managed to break my Carbon Fibre rear stay on my beloved Trigon Dual Suspension MTB. I called Dave from Leewee's cycles and told him my bike had broken, the immediate response was that he would arrange a replacemnet to be delievered to me at Berg And Bush ASAP. Willie from Trigon drove all the wayfrom JHB to Winterton with a new rear stay for my bike and we managed to replace it late that evening and the bike was ready for the final stage on day 3. This is unbelievable service from Leewee's cycles and Willie from Trigon. Cant thank you guys enough for going that extra 1000 miles for a customer. WELL DONE!!!!!
