  2. I wish it were that simple... but im sure the frame is different. Already asked for a price on a frame though
  3. pity its a custom build. My chick would want one of these. But the std Juliana is only a 125mm bike
  4. cool thats gonna be a great build
  5. Also just make sure that the frame is compatible with the tapered steerer tube of the Forks. Seen a couple of okes make that mistake - and its a costly mistake
  6. ya go for the top DT Swiss spokes - you cant go wrong with them
  7. AM wheelset for you! https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/63982-easton-haven/
  8. YAY We have a Convert!!! .... Glad it was our event at Giba that made your mind up!!! The next event is on the 27th at Cascades!!! Check out the entries on ROAG. with regards to a bike I still ride a 26er and its awesome - if you want to do long races and try and compete - keep the 29er, but if you looking for fun - hit a 26 That Santa Cruz will be awesome i personally ride a 6inch travel GT Force and id say that is probably the best amount of travel for trail/enduro/all mtn riding.
  9. that new track that they put in off Spionkop is cool, but its all too manicured IMO ... Everest was awesome as it was open .. ROCKY ... and flatout - I had run out of gears going down there when we were filming for the TV production with the Chopper. And the nice thing with it is you can pass quite easily. That new tracks cool but i find it meanders too much and doesnt feel like a hardcore descent.

  11. I hope they have reinstated Everest's descent off Spionkop for the 2 day ... Thats some of the best trail ever! So fast!
  12. Yebo! you can just go and pass out in your tent on Friday night after the mandatory 10 beers that you need to have during dinner. Dinner is Provided on Friday night as well as entertainment and your tents etc.
  13. Frame - ......??? Heeheehee Fork - Boxxer World Cup with 2014 internals Derailleur - X0 10spd DH Shifter - X0 10spd DH Cranks - Shimano Saint Brakes - Either Shimano Saint (old ones) or XT (new ones) - will see what looks better Chain guide - X0 ( i think) Seat - Syncros Carbon Seatpost - Syncros Carbon Handlebar - ENVE DH Carbon Stem - ??? Hubs - Hope Pro 2 EVO - Red Rims - ???? Not sure yet - but they will be Black - and maybe carbon
  14. yip you can I want to finish it first - then do the shoot - but should have all the parts for it soon its gonna be a sick build
  15. another one Lloyd did for me when i got my GT http://vimeo.com/18591511
  16. PS the bike i am on in my video is the same rig that GREBEL is running now!
  17. this was done by Lloyd Ramsay back in 2010 .... was fun to do but makes me look like a hacker as he asked some doff questions. This on the other hand was a good edit that Lloyd put together ... pity Justin doesn't race anymore http://vimeo.com/11379565
  18. and another - that is one way to ride that young Yeti lady http://ep1.pinkbike.org/p4pb9868055/p4pb9868055.jpg
  19. some more NSFW for Latent Blue ..... http://ep1.pinkbike.org/p4pb8866009/p4pb8866009.jpg
  20. i have a po box so it went there
  21. Thug is right - i didnt get a tracking number but they arrived after a week
  22. i have had mine for 3 years now ... so they work well - just (like all hubs should be) service your module now and again - its super simple to do with 2x 17 spanners - I think they are great
  23. Kable I have the green switch Evos on my GT Force. For the price they are excellent hubs. I have replaced the rear wheel bearings twice now but they use the std size bearings that you get here in SA so its cheap and easy to do. I find they work really well THEY ARE NOT THE LIGHTEST - but they are still cool and i have had no hassles. Their shipping is cool as well they just ship it straight too you and it doesnt cost an arm and a leg. I cant remember what i paid but it wasnt too bad
  24. hahahahaha
