Well….if you ask me you took the bike back in a decent way…(regardless if he bought it from someone else or not..not your problem) …and btw ..its NOT stealing if you take your own property back!! Well done… and it made my day to know a stolen bike was returned!
Does this happen a lot? and if so whats the prevention ...to take it out alot and maybe add very little grease maybe?? havent happened to me "yet" so ill try to prevent it.
Very sorry for your loss... but its not the hub's fault, the criminals found a way in as they always do.. maybe you can get details or track them from here if they are on here! Anyway i hope your insurance pays out (i don't have any and should) and i hope the ass*^%$& gets caught soon.. and when they do they should hang him on a bicycle rack!!
99% of time you will (but still worth buying there) but I have been lucky to receive my goods without and payments. Tyres have never attracted attention but bigger parts have. also check out chain reaction cycles and bike24
Tell your friend to ride the bike backwards..sure hell go faster then! And next time please go with him when he buys a bike...we need more of us in this world!
I would finance a bike (through my credit card) as im paying little interest... yes bikes depreciate but if you see that bike that you always wanted and its on special..why not throw in the cc and pay it off..N nice bike imn my eyes are an investment (all the joy youll have)and you can always cut on some "unwanted take outs" and save on that rather..and youll be enjoying that bike for 10 years but the take out foods and silly things will be out your system in 2 days ...(if all parts work correctly). So i would use a credit card but with caution ! And if you do...pay a little more every month and if you add up all the interest after the period youll be surprised how little you actually paid (take into consideration the discount you got the bike on also). Respect the bike and see it a a positive asset and let the bike "appreciate your joy" in the future!
I also have no issues with their quality..as stated before some are really way better than local stuff! Been using them for around 7 years and goes through a season with no issues!
For that i would recommend a second hand bike, im sure youll get a decent older bike with 105 on it. If he dont like cycling (which i would doubt) he can resell it.

The 57cm is perfect for you ! had one before and im 185cm , did a proper bike fit in London (Evans cycles) and i was told that was the perfect setup for me...so go for it!
Guys...is it just me or isin't someone like chris horner suppose to beat them that easily... i never had horner in my books for a GC win? I shall not mention that he's 41 also...not joking or implying anything but where did he come from..or are all the rest just tired after the season ?
