  1. This was in PE the morning ride from Makro. Not sure of the roads name ,but it's at the top of the climb. I was in the front of the bunch and saw JL coming around the corner in his red Barloworld kit he screamed something and then the two groups crashed into each other.
  2. And I always thought Phil Ligget were talking k@k when he said it's best to ride in the front of the bunch. Glad I was in front otherwise my already frail ribs would have been toast again
  3. Damn must be the stupidest bunch accident I have ever seen The one group that started from Makro this morning came up the hill. These idiots were cycling in both lanes up the hill. John Lee Augustin's group came around the corner from the opposite direction and allot people went crashing into each other. Saw allot of people lying in and on the side of the road. People were yelling and swearing at each other ect. Could not stop as there was to much people in the road. Hope everyone is okay
  4. I took it off the stand it is reallly light. Here's a pic of me and the man himself albeit a bit blurry. My gf is a nail tech not a professional photographer :-)
  5. Thanks for clearing that up he had some interesting brake calipers also. Apparantly this was the bike that went down the mountain side
  6. Went to the meet at Coimbra and was wondering what FSA crankset he uses on his bike?
  7. Ya I use to ride a Merida now I have a cervelo. BUT that doesn't mean I get to erase the pain I had from the 10 broken ribs and punctured lung :-)
  8. Nice bike STM funny how you first have to have a crash before getting to upgrade

  10. I am currently using a 12-25 10spd Dura Ace cluster on my race wheels and am considering getting a 12-23 Ultegra cluster to put on my training wheels. Would the 12-23 be good to use for training? My route of between 40 and 50km has some small hills but nothing life threatening. Should I rather stick to 12-25 or even 11-23?
  11. Good initiative looked like you guys had allot of fun. I'm a roadie so I would not be caught dead riding in the night
  12. Awesome great bike like the frame and wheels. Should be the last road bike you will ever need to buy
  13. Welcome back! Also finally back on my bike after my stunt and I'm really glad I did not decide to give up the bike. There's something awesome about finishing your first ride after being not able to ride. Keep it up!
  14. I was wondering if the assessor gets some kind of bonus for ripping clients off.
  15. Just some advice get some insurance sooner rather than later and get it insured for what it's going to cost to be replaced.
  16. Wow you were lucky I waited 2 months for them to finally sort things out. Must admit that paper work was partially to blame and the fact that I refused to sign on the first offer they offered me. I have insured my new cervelo with them again as I have received good service from Petro after all is said and done.
  17. Well one lesson I have had to learn the hard way is don't take it for granted that if you insure your bike for X amount that's what you will get out. It's either under or over ,but never correctly insured. Loves how the assessor always comes up with a hundred and ten reasons not to pay you out the full amount and actually manages to look as if it's hurting him to give you the bad news.
  18. Imagine forgetting to recharge while battling a steep hill
  19. I like Shimano a very innovative company not like others who rather go the extra gear route
  20. Keo carbons
  21. 12-25 gives me everything I need.
  22. Awesome pictures moo thanks for sharing them.
