  1. but you have to feel good while riding it I have to be honest when I used to ride a DBR it was quite a rough ride and damn heavy, but it looked great to me and that's part of what motivated me to go out and train most mornings. Sorry ,but I cannot see myself getting excited over a Raleigh especially a yellow one
  2. Awesome work rad006 and well done on getting yourself and your machine up that hill
  3. I think if more pharmaceutical companies like Roche first have to develop a test to detect substances like the new generation of EPO before releasing them into the market it will be great.
  4. It does suck not being able to ride. Had a huge crash two months back ten broken ribs, punctured lung, fractures to the lumber spine, dislocated shoulder and some freaky scars from the windscreen My advice is to do lots of time on the IDT in the meanwhile so that you don't feel like youre going to have a heart attack when you get back in the saddle. Also don't start to ride unless you get the all clear from the doc no matter how badly you want to. The best part for me was going for my first ride after the crash on my new bike :-) wisecrack2008-07-21 06:01:31
  5. They are Easton EC90 SLX3's handlebars(mouth full) Really light at 190g. wisecrack2008-07-21 02:16:54
  6. Well I did not read the essay above, but I also replaced my crashed Easton Vista SL's with a set of these. I went out for two rides so far and the wheels indeed feels like it rolls up faster and climb better than my old wheels. Did I mention they look super SEXY?? Sorry JB I have no scientific data to backup my claims
  7. I really like the black Alligator cables. I recently bought a new RS and some BBB frame protectors for the front brake cables is it necessary to get for the back cable as well where it goes into the frame?
  8. Yes it's the RS. Suppose to be super comfy yet still racey :-) Will give a full report when the doctor decides in his infinite wisdom to give me the all clear.
  9. Not as bling as a certain members steed ,but could be this be his little brother?
  10. You have out done yourself Sir! Blinging beautiful bike and the fact that's it's a cervelo make it a Gzillion times sexier
  11. 690 ZARonts
  12. Yes I also contacted tokenfreak last night for some nice goodies to go on my new bike these
  13. Good to hear. I also crashed my bike beginning of June and had some difficulty with my wrecked bike and my insurance company. Lesson I have learned is to make sure your insurance cover the replacement of your whole bike and that you are not under or over insured. Opened up my eyes in regards to my household and car insurance as well. wisecrack2008-07-15 04:15:07
  14. Respect where respect is due :-) Seeing him climbing in the mountains amongst some of the best climbers in the world makes me proud indeed. Would love to see how he develops over time. Oh and did I mention he hails from PE?
  15. For sure! Can work out a great deal if you take the whole frame though :-) I have also looked at shipping a frame from Comobike 'but it would have ended up more expensive than at my lbs. Also really if I buy a cervelo frame from somewhere overseas will cervelo honour the guarantee? I don't think so.
  16. I can sell you this one. It's slightly cracked :-)
  17. Yes and black and red don't only look sexy it looks fast to :-)
  18. Don't think there are any difference besides what you pointed out already. The spokes are bladed and higher rim profile.
  19. Easton really make some nice wheels in the lower budget range. Had Easton Vista SL's for two years and absolutely no problems. I would however go with their new range the EA70's have the new R4 hubs I think and parts should be easier to get. wisecrack2008-07-11 03:53:46
  20. I'll PM you I bought them as a packaged deal together with a cervelo RS frame. Read some reviews on the net. Some people are complaining of breaking spokes, but they weigh over 90kg. Other people have nothing 'but praise for them and says the R4 hubs are buttery smooth and the best wheels they ever owned. That's why I decided to buy them at my lbs rather and have some sort of recourse should something go wrong. I weigh about 75kg so I don't think I'll have problems.
  21. Hey Desmond just settled on a pair of them at Action Cycles where my new bike is being built. Weight +- 1580g. Looks super sexy and if they are half as good as my old Easton Vista SL's I dont think I will regret my decision. How much are they selling for?
  22. Is it the same ones that was advertised on BidorBuy a while back? If the same the seller mailed me some decent pics and they look in good condition. You going to use them for TT?
  23. lol...I also was interested in the sprints ,but heard from someone they flex? After rebuilding them with alloy spokes maybe that wont be a problem anymore. Real lightweights at 1400g
