  3. Sweet bike! I can really see why Spez SL bikes are considered racing bikes they have VERY short headtubes.
  4. Wow looks a bit busy ,but in a nice way.
  5. Oh and my current bike is not that bad at all
  6. Must admit those first two bikes looks ugly. Here is a pic of my next bike I think it's beautiful
  7. Just wanted to share my experience as well with regards to CWCycles and the excellent service I received in particular from Christof who attended to me. I bought a Vittoria tubular tyre in December through the online shop and about the second race I used them noticed a small bubble on the tread of the front tyre. I felt unsafe to ride with it and knew through experience with a particular LBS here in PE that it would be difficult to get replaced by the supplier. Well all I can say is that I had no problems what so ever in getting it replaced by CWC and all was sorted and posted within less then a week. One of the things I was always weary of when buying online through them was what would happen if I needed to get something replaced. All I can say is thank you I will not hesitate to use you guys as MUCH as possible in future.
  8. Heres a picture.
  9. Hey guys just noticed a bubble on the thread of a recently purchased Vittoria CR tubbie. Could this be from hitting something hard in the road or from over inflating the tyre? Would think it is not safe to ride with anymore?wisecrack2010-01-16 02:41:23

  12. Another question Im 35 and normally race in the VA group. When registering there is an option to select either Masters men or Elite men. Which option should I choose
  13. I agree ,BUT if you are talking about the section of Kragga Kamma road which goes past the Spar towards Butterfield road it is a very narrow and dangerous road with many a cyclist beign knocked over in the past. It does however not make the swearing part okay PS: You were very brave to cycle in this horrid windwisecrack2009-12-26 03:22:30

  20. Sheesh this is bad news. I wish him a speedy recovery and please keep us updated.
  21. Lucky for you it was tight and not stripped. Was that on the Cervelo? No on the now deceased Merida :-)
  22. Think I know the shop you are referring to. Great owner ,but had an incident where I had a bike serviced and decided to ride back home. When I got home I noticed the 4 bolts that clamps the stem to the steerer was not tightened at all That leaves me to think that no one did a final check on the bike once work was completed. Luckily the nut of the top cap was fastened super tight
  23. Lyk soos 'n Isuzu
