  1. Have the same gripe about stickey glue. Use Q20 and a clean rag comes off easy peasy......
  2. If you buy Zipp 101's will it be clincher or tubular. You will definitly have less weght to drag up hill if you choose the Zipp 101 tubulars ,but if you will use them for training who will back you up when you puncture or burst a tire?(happened to me during the Argus and not fun) The Zipp 101 clincher and the Easton EA90 Aero weigh more or less the same and the Eastons are the cheaper option for sure. I own a set EA90 Aero's and have no complaints except for I wish I used them rather than my Zipps during the Argus
  3. These were the bikes at the Expo that had a sticker attached "DO NOT TOUCH" ? I thought it strange as there were some killer DOGMA'S that had no warning stickers attached at all

  5. Nice looking bikes mate! I especially like the Fondreist what size is it? PS: You need another bottle cage
  6. Sad news make one think each time you get on the bike you might not come back.... R.I.P
  7. Why not buy a 303 or 404 rim and have the wheel rebuilt it should be the cheapest solution.
  8. Yip should have taken out insurance on those wheels Look like it went through a pothole or some other type of impact like a railway track PS: I had a similar incident where I crashed during the VW HERALD and my rear Zipp rim suffered the same type of crack. Now I could have sold the wheels on the hub as it was very hard to notice the crack ,but I would never let a fellow hubber 7k out of pocket and then just wash my hands and say it was not cracked when I clearly knew it was.(Not saying this is the case here) LESSON TAKE OUT INSURANCE ON EXPENSIVE ITEMS!
  9. Hot ride you have there mate! Always was a fan of the Felt FC frame. Those hoops are they tubbies or clinchers can't make out?
  10. I'm considering cancelling with my policy with cyclesure. Paying 15% excess on a wheel claim which came to R1600 payable by me have let me to reconsider my insurance options. If I cancell with cyclesure after just having claimed will Outsurance charge me a higher premium?
