  1. A heads up that the thumb tack sabotage tactics are being used again in the Cradle, my partner punctured heading back to Hans Strydom just after Cradle Restraunt turn off, heard of others as well. These are hectic sized tacks and black so not easily spotted. Not cool!
  2. Thanks guys, have ordered my ICEID
  3. Any advice on how I can obtain an ER24 Sweat Band or similar medical emergency identification product? The only 2 options I can seem to find for the sweat band are: Joining cyclelab club or Having a cyclesure policy There doesn't seem to be a stand alone memebership option?
  4. You missed: A wallet A pair of Sunglasses A bike computer A RAVX pump
  5. The athlete you ae refering to is probably Oswald Kydd; cyclist and triathlete - remarkable guy - his story at the link below: http://www.bsgmultisport.co.za/content/oswald-kydd-courageous-triathlete-and-role-model
  6. Unfortunately a cyclist was killed by a bus in the cradle on Friday - Kromdraai Road. Very sad, especially in an area that should be one of the safer one's for us cyclists. Condolences.
  7. Yup we had the same thing in April 2011, bought from CRC and then a week later bank called about suspicious transactions
  8. Great ride, in spite of getting caught behind some really slow riders in the beginning when is the next one, I wanna do it again??
  9. Any chance Anatomic will have some "holding stock" or do they only make what is ordered?
  10. Any additional kit orders going to be placed?
  11. I had the same problem after an accident, I've lost the range of motion in my ankle, after a year of riding with toe clips I took the plunge and got cleats, couldn't unclip with regular shimano cleats so did some research and decided to try shimano multi release cleats they've worked a charm(they're almost impossible to come by in SA so order online) There is some concern that the multi release could be a hazard because you might uncleat unintentionnaly hasn't happened to me but then again it is probably applies to super strong agressive riders?
  12. Best MTB Shoes

  15. Can anyone recommend Mountain Bike courses for beginners or Intermediates in the Johannesburg area? Preferably someone with loads of patience who can also help me unlearn some bad habits Tx Oops spelt Course wrong in topic header, how do I correct?
  16. Thanks for explanation. I remember paying that R75 to the club when I joined, I'll contact them for the refund as I couldn't see a way of excluding the amount when I paid CSA.
  17. Well the system is flawed because when you enter your registration details they ask if you belong to a club so the system should have picked it up
  18. I have a really rude afrikaans editorial about Powerbalance, will I get banned from the hub if I post it???
  19. What a rip, I was told I needed a CSA licence R75, cool I registered and applied mysteriously a "provincial affilication" of R75 was added to my cart, can't be removed from cart and no information as to what it is for??? So your CSA licence is not R75 it actually is R150!
  20. 2 Punctures Sunday, thanks to the guys who helped me! Not cool! especially as I am a considerate cyclist!! Also cyclists will soon be the least of the Cradle's worries, Sunday BMW Club and Ferrari Club used the area as a race track obviously cottoned on to the fact that no cops around?
