We are leaving to Vaalwater for a weeks rest. Coming back next Monday, then another weeks rest ....... we will be campng in Shingwedzi, KNP for untill the Monday after that ...... then back into civvie life and will return to Lagos on 16 September 2007. Thanx Probike for delivering my BBB Torque Wrench. It is pure bling and well packed into a hard case. Cannot wait to use the little thing. I cannot find any Hex bolts en M says "my kop is reg opgeskroef, dankie!!!!!!" Dick my friend you were too late..... sorry but Probike with their usual efficiency delivered. Pity about the selective bike shops who are now going to loose out because their prejudice stops them form selling this extremely wide range of bicycle accessories. Well I suppose the buying power of cyclists will eventually decide. Sheesh even a TREK, Cervelo or Merida will do well with a torque wrench like this. Pity you now have to go to another store to buy one.

Well, the same pattern continues. I tried to buy a mount to Fit My Garmin GPSmap 60CSx by using my existing bean bad mount. Union Mart is trying to order one for a week now. When I started getting nasty they said we can try to change a bike mount for the purpose. ANother salesman there said i will need a completely new beanbag. I phoned LA sports, they had one in stock (a suction mount) In the store we too the cradle off and it fit excactly in my bean bag mount. Not one of them carries the proper accessories. I wanted a pouch. Nobody had it. They will have to order. They all stock and sell a unit that costs R6500 but they do not keep accessories. i needed a digital tape recorder. Fotocats ordered a Panasonic with voice recognition software. They did it on Monday, today he tells me Panasonic may deliver tofday. I already located one at New World and told the guy at Photocats to keep his tape and will get the one from New World.

The problem started when you bought your helmet. By judicious choosing and shopping around you could have solved the problem yourself. NEVER EVER EVER buy a helmet because your buddy says it is good. Not one of us has the same shaped noggin. Shop around for the best fit and you will get the correct and best fitting helmet. For now, or untill you decide to get another helmet you will have to live with an ill fitting choice.
