  1. So I called The Vine Guest house (in Stellenbosch - there is none in Somerset West) and asked to speak to Jonathan. Guess what... there is no person there by that name. I wonder how legit that profile then actually is?
  2. Yep, church going folks seem to not forget these things.... And i believe he was bounced from the page too, as barry mentions And the page is getting good traction too
  3. Ive got one. I lost the light. Dm me and we can work out how to get it to you
  4. I see someone created a page for our buddy and even added his photo's to the front of the page alerting them to a fraud alert: Here's the page: https://web.facebook.com/groups/2702740316603874 And I noticed he's a member there too. Nice! Now he can see what people post about him and cannot delete or threaten them with crappy letters. I must just add though, the photo of him on the left sure looks like he's on a seat post without a saddle, or do I see it wrong? He sure looks uncomfortable in that photo or pose
  5. You should let him send you a notice or a legal court order. Then you see him answer in court, in person. His letters are just bully tactics from a grade 4 school yard. Best way to deal with the bully is to take him head on What a p.o.s. he is
  6. Im happy to contribute too. Just say when
  7. Did you manage to get an update from the detective yet?
  8. And if you rotate the seat connecting mechanism through 180deg? Or the dropper through 180deg? The dropper doesnt know whats front or back does it?
  9. Thats just typical of him, much like he did to the hub recently
  10. Does anyone know the spez guys in Stellenbosch? Maybe ask them to comment or provide a case number, or the facts if any
  11. Fixed it... that's what his wife feels like at the moment Im sure he is well aware of his actions and plays the woe is me card to get out of the dwang. Its much like cricket i guess, scoring ones and two's gets the tally up and hitting a peach of a six when it comes along (using the epic to scam people). He may very well resort back to the little stuff to stay under the radar, but as you do in cricket, you get out sooner than later.
  12. Apparently, according to the 4x4 community, this might be his dad Paul Bewsher, who is a well respected conservationist
  13. Perhaps then the feds should have noted this in the beginning that it would be a civil case and not criminal. Thats what I meant by the t.i.a part Lets hope the civil prosecution continues
  14. Thats just shocking news, although I'm not surprised as t.i.a... We have to keep the wheel turning on this, somehow
  15. What I dont understand is why/how he used his real name as opposed to a pseudonem, like Piet van der Merwe or what ever. Its not like his name is not unique, and will stand out on a page to you from a mile away if you've been defrauded by him before. (apologies to the purists for the double negative) The mind boggles sometimes
  16. That means he is still locked up awaiting bail, if I understand you correctly? The holding cells are not a pretty place, perhaps fitting for some pre-served justice
  17. Well the current round of threats were just a load of hot air. He did hand a case number to BH recently, but I highly suspect that it was false anyway - which is another fraudulent action. Unfortunately, people take threats seriously and usually back down to avoid the conflict, which makes the threatening person win.
  18. Well, according to the Mikebolhuis website, our pal will be appearing in the Goodwood magistrates court room A today. I'll check the court roll tomorrow to see if it went down as we all hope it has If anyone is down there Im sure we'd all love a photo of him standing in the doc
  19. Lol, you certainly may like every other protest action. But it'll be better to be a part of the victim brigade and show support to the state to oppose bail
  20. Thats why a few of the victims need to be present when bail hearing is set. Take an attorney with so they can befriend the state prosecutor in the bail application. But, we need to see that he is arrested first - I'd hate to be ahead of the expectations on this one
  21. I dont think saps is that sophisticated to collate all the cases together, if you as an individual report a case. You'd have to have all the other case numbers ready and present it to the investigating officer, not the desk sergeant. Or, you need long pockets to pay an attorney to gather the case numbers all together. You might have a small chance of collective cases if the state prosecutor see's or notices a repetition in a name, but this is unlikely due to the amount of dockets that crosd their daily paths Unfortunately, the court systems are just too over worked and under staffed, the same for the saps investigators It is sadly a bonus for the perpetrator. But, the long arm of the law will eventually catch up, especially if victims are present in court when his bail application gets heard... (hint hint)
  22. Thats great news! Will you be notified if he is arrested?
  23. Did he really get arrested? And sorry to pester, but did you open your fraud and harrasment case yet? As for bail, it'll be a trivial amount that we all will gasp at, as the state will not oppose bail knowing full well the cells are full, so they'll post some crap like R1000 Im busy with my attorney in CT to determine if the case number and docket @Matt received and shared is actually legit. Tomorrow we talk to the clerk of the court in stellies to see if its real. (Still hoping @Matt can share it with me as it should be public knowledge anyway and wont be breaking any laws)
  24. IOL is a bit of a sensationalist rag. I read their diretribe with a 50kg bag of salt. Im not saying they are 100% incorrect, but they do take a lot out of context for sales
  25. Thanks Belinda, did you open a case of fraud and harrasment against him too?
