Well, Silverback were very useful in their email reply - NOT There will be a model with similar Spec, but the Prices is not available yet. At this stage I can’t give you much info on the 2012 range. Everyone for now is in the dark, supposedly a Surprise. 

Maybe the 2.0 will replace the Spectra and the 1.0 could have XT??

I notice it is a Spectra 3.0, perhaps there is a higher spec 2.0 and 1.0?

OK, I can see there is not too much out there so if the price is right I will consider a 2011 with 9 speed SLX, maybe a Silverback Ventura or similar. Or, I guess a 2011 9 speed XT

And it doesn't say SLX on the crank arm I just mailed them for ETA, spec and pricing, maybe I will get a reply. Anyone know the RRP of the 2011 Segma or Moda? I am keen to get an MTB soon.

I read this in an ASG ad in Ride magazine (April/May 2011 page 95), it says In 2007 ASG introduced a crash replacement policy for all its helmets they are now introducing a replacement policy on lenses. I got the impression from the wording in the ad that the replacement on the helmets is an ASG initiative and nothing to do with the manufacturer or their warranty.

Just because it is fuel injected doesn't mean it has a catalytic converter. You can be certain though that it has steel valve seats.

Correct. And it overcame the potential problem that existed fromhaving the valve seats machined directly into the cast iron cylinder head

Yes but size, location and spec (10 speed SLX) are important so I am not having too much luck in there. I tried to buy back the Spectra I sold but unfortunately the buyer is too attached to it

There is quite a bit of info there, it is under the hardtail section, must be 10 speed SLX so must be 2011 model and I am in Fourways area Just to clarify one thing, I am not buying an unseen bike so it needs to be reasonably local Price wise - Must be reasonably priced for an SLX specked bike. If you want to give me a 10 speed XT spec at the SLX price we can also talk Yes, used bike please and I would expect at least 25% off the new price for that reason or it would just make more sense to go to the LBS and buy new with warranty etc.
