  1. Can't see the pic you posted
  2. I have the Anatomic rain jacket. You can't take off the sleeves though so if that is essential to you then it is a no go. (why would you take the sleeves off when it is raining anyway?) R311.00 from the factory shop. It folds up into a tiny mesh bag. If you are interested let me know and I will post a pic of it in the bag. http://www.weardirect.co.za/anatomic-super-shell-0
  3.
  4.
  5. My feet are pretty comfortable in the shoes, not tight at all and they are well worn in. I don't tighten the lower straps much. In fact the lowest one doesn't get adjusted at all for removing/fitting the shoes. I thought the fact that my cleats are pretty far forward on their adjustment and that the pain seems to be slightly forward of the ball of my feet may indicate the cleats are too far forward. I will adjust them back to try it out but it is not too often I do 150km +
  6. When I go for very long rides - 150km plus I get a pain in my feet, I notice the pain seems to be towards my toes. Do you think I should try move my cleats back slightly? I have a lot of adjustment free in that direction. Should I move the cleat back by say 2mm at a time for testing?
  7. I am not even going to try to get SA Active to add the 170km Cradle race to the events
  8. I am still waiting for them to add Kremetart on SA Active, I requested it on 6 June. I emailed them a week later but they ignored me.
  9. Much neater job here. No stiches or staples
  10. Ribs are the worst part, I bust high up ones front and back. Collarbone was fixed the same day I broke it but the ribs took 6 weeks
  11. Well done David
  12. At least if it comes out bad there are ways to remove it Some paint strippers I think the other was Holts Head Gasket Remover
  13. Mini hijack Just so you will all know... When I needed IR for the Polar SD800 I had I was told by Polar I had to get a Polar one for R500.00. I then remembered I had a generic USB IR device so I gave it a try and it worked 100%. I think I bought it about 8 years ago so nothing fancy about it.
  14. When I restored a car I had a lot of stuff powder coated. The finish is sometimes not great/smooth Not sure if I would take a chance with a frame
  15. Good pricing and reasonable terms. Premiums are higher than mine but that can be expected on a stand alone policy. Excess is double mine.
  16. Not sure which forum this should be in... In my insurance policy schedule that was emailed to me the only references to bicycles are · Types of property NOT covered under the general unspecified item are · Cell phones, car sound and communication equipment; tapes, cassettes and CD’s in vehicles; pedal cycles, money, stamps and coins. Excess 3. Pedal cycles with a value of R10 000 and more : 5% of loss - minimum R500 Should I be looking elsewhere for fine print regarding cover on my bike and possible exclusions? It is insured under all risks. If my garage door was open and someone jumped over my wall and stole it I wonder if they could say the garage was not locked or the bike wasn't locked to an immovable object?? (Bad example because it lives in my lounge leaning against my couch ) My last insurance company had a whole list of things they wouldn't cover on my bike including racing If something is not specifically excluded is it automatically included? That would be my understanding.
  17. 3.Does her ass look OK in the shorts?
  18. Get her a pink bike  Seriously, make sure she likes the colour/look of the bike. For some reason that is more important than spec when it comes to getting her to use it.
  19. I had a Silverback Spectra 2011, it was a great bike, good components for the money with 10 speed SLX. I sold it and bought a road bike but I regret selling it now, I would still like to do some MTB rides
  20. Very impressed with my Thule bike carrier and luckily it has fitted all 3 cars I needed to use it on
  21. Did you compare with the list of events I entered? Plus SA Active and CSA. I can't think of anything else recently.
  22. I was drinking 2.5 cases of Millers a week - weighed 96kg Rarely drink now but if I do then it is Windhoek Light
  23. Spoke to my mate this morning, he also didn't enter Bela Bela but is getting the spam. I see CSA is short of cash. Are all people that are receiving the spam members of CSA? Solution of phoning them sucks, I don't have time to phone all the idiots who spam me and why should I use my airtime. They should change the law for spam, they should send you one SMS asking if you want to opt in. If they don't get a reply from you they should send no further spam.
  24. I told loads of people about David and this ride, they were all amazed but none of them took out their wallets
