Hi guys. Our gardener which stays on a plot in the Olympus area Orange Diamond Back mountain bike was taken from him by 4 guys just across the road from the mooikloof northern entrance. It's a old bike. It was mine looong ago. It was his wheels to go anywhere. Now he is stuck. It is fitted with specialized rock hopper tires. A RST front fork. It's got indola Stickers down the underside of the down tube as well as a rock shox decal in the BB area. On the one chain stay there is a area with no paint. Been sanded down due to chips that were there. It's got a shimano A rear deraileur and combined shifter and brake lever. The gear indication dials are also not there anymore. I know a lot of guys ride in this area and just maybe spots the bike. Please phone me on 082 651 473 three All the best Meent

I think what stringbean said that the XO1 would be the same as a XX1 as it does not come with a chain ring

It's treating me very well. I can't comment on durability as yet. But on performance it's absolutely mind blowing. The shifts are extremely quick and direct. The shifter has a positive click which I absolutely love. The whole setup is so smooth. I want to use a comparison here but might be banned. I went for a 34t ring in front and for my current riding in PTA it's going to work. Might buy something smaller for those bitch races like sabie and magoebaskloof. I had XX with a rotor crank before this. That is where my love for SRAM started. Had XT before that and I would not want to venture anywhere near shimano. Not even when I'm fishing. There it's al about Abu Garcia. I wanted to go for XO1 but a mere saving of approx R1750 made me go the whole pole. And I'm not regretting it for one day.

Pfffff. Telling people SRAM is *** is like saying Ferrari is *** because Renault wins the F1. I'm very sorry but your opinion means less than the budget speech.

My XX1 groupo was finally fitted. Took it for a quick ride this pm and I must admit I am very very happy. Its as smooth as silk and the shiftsnare very quick. I love not having a left hand shifter The right hand shifter is just as snug as a XX. The rest for me is absolute beauty.

Awesome awesome brakes. Had them on my previous bike. Sold the bike. Then new bike came with XT's. I didn't like them at all. Took the plunge and bought R1's again. They have awesome stopping power. I haven't had one day of trouble with them. Mine are fitted with the reach adjust and FCS which makes setup very easy

And the "missing" parcel is here!!!!!! Just waiting for the other parts to arrive.

I've stayed with triggers. Always used triggers. But I've read the grip shifter is also quite good
