  1. Making a group to go off the front in order to pick up riders from the other groups to increase our speed... This is my second Argus, and I really would like to get under 3:30, maybe somewhere in the region of 3:20 or faster?
  2. Well then we need to make our group hussle
  3. Are there any other hubbers here in M for Argus that are looking for under 3hrs 30?
  4. I'm all for it if it's lightweight and has a long-lasting battery!
  5. Definately not Olympic Cycles, they are useless... +1 CWC
  6. How much are they selling for?
  7. I was worried this may be the case... It's a very light frameset, even though it's aluminum...
  8. I'm currently riding an aluminum fuji Team SL frame, one of the lightest alu frames I have seen. I think it's a 2009 model, but not totally sure. The bike weighs 7.5kg with an Ultegra Groupset, American classic wheels and FSA Carbon Crank. How much do you think I could get for the frame set?
  9. 22.5k sounds good...
  10. Currently I'm looking at getting a medium 18" merida (2009 model). Thanks everyone for the input... Now I just have to decide if an 18" will fit me...
  11. 26"... A lot of sites on the internet say I should take a medium, but is there anyone who actually knows?
  12. Hey all I'm considering buying a mountain bike, however I'm a little bit worried about the size. I'm 1.81m tall and I ride a 54cm road frame... From what I can understand having read up on the subject on the internet, for a 54cm road frame you should have an 18" MTB frame? Is this correct? I just don't want to buy a frame that is too small or too big as I can't then afford to get another frame. Thanks guys and girls
  13. I ride both and I do have to agree... When I'm on my road bike and I greet a fellow roadie, I almost always get some form of response. However, when I'm on my mountain bike riding along the road to get to Tokai and I greet a roadie, more often than not I get ignored... Strange to think that it's simply because of the different bikes?
  14. It's cheap because of its weight... The top forks weigh between 1.2 - 1.4 kgs
  15. Thanks guys, now I just have to get hold of some new shifters... Anyone selling either XT or XTR shifters?
  16. There seem to be mixed opinions... Is there anyone who has tried this or a similar combination, or knows for certain that the x9 shifters will not work with the xt RD?
  17. Hi guys and girls I'm pretty sure that Sram X9 shifters will work with xt Front and Rear Deraliurs, but could I just get some advice on this? Obviously both have to be 9 speed in order to work...
  18. Ye Red Hill is fantastic for climbing! Have to include it in you route...
