  1. I just bought new lenses from Walleva (also on Ebay) for my Jawbones. The lenses are incredible, awesome quality and it was R360 including shipping.
  2. I run both a SRAM and Shimano cluster on my different wheels and shifting is not affected. I think it may be that the chain is new and so is much stiffer
  3. Is he willing to sell torque wrenches?
  4. Now that would explain it! I opened the page already looking at glasses and there it doesn't mention replica, but on the home page it does
  5. While looking for new glasses yesterday, I came across this website: http://www.cheap-oakley-sale.com Has anyone purchased from them before? The prices seem ridiculous!
  6. Thanks guys, will contact them
  7. I'm looking to get some plain water bottles that I can print logos onto. Anyone know of a person or company that does such things?
  8. Anyone?
  9. Are there any group rides that leave early morning (5.30ish) on Fridays in the area? If not, is anyone keen to join me this Friday morning for a ride? I live in Rondebosch and I'm not sure what's available. I'm looking for a group to average around 28km/hr+ depending on route etc.
  10. [quote name=Dee ' timestamp='1326914598' post='1567000] Are you still keen for a ride tomorrow? I'm thinking of going anyway... What time?
  11. I work until 4.30, so that's a little late. Went this afternoon at around 6 and WOW it was hot! Think I'm gonna ride at 6 tomorrow morning if you are keen?
  12. What time in the afternoon and from where?
  13. Are the Kelvin Grove people riding tomorrow morning?
  14. Yup I guess that's true! Now I just need to get hold of a torque wrench...
  15. I recently got a Selle Italia SLR with carbon rails. I have a kcnc seat post on my bike and when I tighten the bolts, I'm always worried about cracking the carbon rails. When ever I go out riding, the saddle slides backwards which then leads to my knees hurting! I don't have a torque wrench so I have no idea how much I can safely tighten the bolts, would the best method be to take my bike to my LBS and let them tighten it for me?
  16. The frame size is not that important, as long as you can have a long enough seat post and stem that will allow for proper reach and leg height. According to the charts I should be on a L! I'm 181cm tall and I'm currently riding an 18" Medium Merida... I like the compact feel, I find it easier to control the smaller bike, and all I have is a longer seatpost... You just need to check the length of the top tube, it should be greater than 52cm or so
  17. My number still has not arrived as of yet... I paid 3 weeks ago and still nothing
  18. good luck
  19. +1
  20. I have the exact same issue currently with my rear brake too.. Running Juicy 7's... Let me know if that works Smolster
  21. I can't comment on the Dura-ace pads as I have never used them, but swiss stop pads are incredible! I have them on my bike and they are incredible
  22. I will spread the word to the rest of the UCT team, and will try get others involved too... This is a great idea kandui!
  23. I'm now in J for this season... Moved up 1 point with the reseed. Not too shabby considering I started last year as unseeded!!!
  24. John O Connor Cycles should be made illegal it's so porno! I could just stare at the bikes in that shop for hours!!!
  25. + 3 for Crown Cycles! Had fantastic service there and the guys are always willing to help out! Whatever you do, stay far away from Bowmen Cycles near Revolution Cycles! The service is shocking, and the workshop did such a bad job on my bike, I walked out of the store refusing to pay, and they knew that would be the case.
