  1. Yes...Cyclists will see a steep increase in prices over the next while. If the Rand gets stronger they should all come down again though.
  2. The Rand/Euro messed up everything...new RRP R1060 There's a lot of shops with old stock...so you can pick them up for around R920...if you shop around.
  3. Barend...well said...You are spot on..I couldn't have done it better!
  4. That's the one!! Thanks!
  5. I have spoken to a lot of really knowable cycling experts in relation to this subject, most of them agreed that spacers aren't really needed as our bodies compensate enough. I wouldn't try crankarms myself...as u should really try and finetune it...and to try not use any spacing. There was a SA company a while ago who had adjustable carbon chainsets...not sure if the really took off?? One of you guys might know it?
  6. 0.5cm Sorry 0.5cm
  7. Hi Velo, Unfortunately not. I can get one on special order...but it's not a frame that I keep in stock.
  8. I've got 30 catalog's left.
  9. Hi Pokerface, What is the difference? There must be a big difference to justify using spacers....your body adapts pretty well. Just make sure your saddle height is adjusted to the longer leg. If it's more than 1cm you can cut shapes out sandpaper..in the shape of the cleat...and then layer them. Just make sure to only compensate half the discrepancy....so in 1cm's case....0.5mm of spacing.
  10. You guys are welcome to PM your postal addresses.....got a few MTB catalog's that I can pop in the post.
  11. I am only bringing in the frames. The duty on complete bikes are just too much. Most guys prefer to spec a bike of this level themselves. The frame will retail for around R24 200-R25 000....depending on the exchange rate. The Rand is very weak...causing havoc!! According to the guys from LOOK...the 986 has taken the USA and France by storm...they can't keep up. PS: The factory bike comes in at 9.46kg with pedals....but it won't be to hard to get it close to 9kg's.
  12. Hi Racer X, keep up the form...and a sponsor will come to you.
  13. You never know
  14. OK...let me try. The Keo Easy's come with one set of bearings.....while the Classics and upper models come with 2 or 3 sets of bearings...depending on the model. The other models will therefore outlast the Easy's. If you don't adjust the release tension....there is no performance difference between the Easy's and the others....BUT....I am afraid that you might unclip under pressure. The tension is really light on them. They are truly a great pedal for the fun rider....but I will recommend that someone upgrade the moment the bug bites.
  15. Hi Jules, an honest answer...not really. They are really aimed at the first time user. They are pretty light though...240g's a pair
  16. Hi Guys. The cheaper Keo is called the KEO Easy...and retails for around R470. The Keo Sprints a pretty good. There is loads of Pro's in Europe using them. The moment you move to Carbon...you get better bearings...and of course the BLING factor.
  17. The frame is currently in Bester Cycles in PTA...if any one wants to have a LOOK
  18. I have been using a B & W case the last few years...very happy. Check this link out: http://www.wcfanshop.com/servlet/the-178/Black-ABS-Hard-case/Detail but shop around because I am sure you can get it cheaper.
  19. Hi Niterider, that is the one and only downside of ISP frames....but you get bike cases which take them ...no problem. Mr LOOK2008-01-16 08:41:44
  20. Give the dual a year or two
  21. The 986 has been undergoing strenuous testing the last few years. The guys at LOOK are VERY VERY safety conscious....and that all gave me the .
  22. Hi, The Keo Grips are NEW in SA. They've got a black rubbery surface in both sides of the cleat. It's a non slip material that clings to your sole....and stick on the floor when you walk. It's the exact same shape as normal Keo Cleats...and their not compatible with Delta (PP range) pedals.
