  1. She is a wise girl, she has heard the century old rumors of human food being good. So she will eat just about anything I dish up in my plate! Except for liquorice, that she does not eat...
  2. Not quite an every day watch but this is my first dive computer. Took her out for her first few dives last weekend and it works like a charm!
  3. My Citizen Eco Drive Titanium. Awesome little watch indeed! I am still of the opinion that you get a lot of watch for a decent price when buying Citizen.
  4. Wayne you really know how to make responsible choices difficult!!
  5. Rolo using her best interpretation of the "Yoda-face" to use the force to convince me to hand over some sushi last night
  6. Waking up is not her favorite time of the day! I have tried it with biltong, where I placed the biltong in front of her nose while she's sleeping. She didn't even bother opening her eyes, just stretched her neck enough to reach it with her tongue, licked it up and continued her snooze
  7. Rolo just waking up after a Saturday afternoon snooze
  8. I see your Blackforest cake and raise you mine. I had "pannekoek"
  9. Sorry the place it called Home etc. Here's a link to the google search https://www.google.co.za/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=home+etc+cape+town
  10. Home Living (Similar to Mr Price home) had cases on sale a while ago for around R250.00
  11. She's awesome indeed! With regards to skin conditions: She gets eczema on her stomach due to too much chilling in the sun (she has albino patches). I've got her on Vet's choice food and wash her about every 2 weeks with Eczema shampoo which has it under control. With regards to odors: None from her skin, folds or ears. She does get bathed, in the bath of course, every 2 weeks so no issues with infections etc. But she produces so much natural gas than Enron has made an offer to buy her... Farts like a freaking machine!!!!!
  12. She does not joke when there's food in question!! As you can see from the photo she's extremely malnourished and only gets fed when I have visitors... Or that's at least what it looks like when I open the fridge, bread, packet of Simba chips or anything else that might be edible...
  13. Sheeesh!!!! That is a lot of money! I have no experience with Frenchie's so cannot comment on whether they are worth it. But after the last few months with an English in my life I would pay the R17k anytime (if I had the money ). You get a lot of personality, and some looks , for your money! Here's a pic of the two girls in my life: *Edit: Take note, that is a "chair" she's sitting on!
  14. Not quite velomatiCT here... But I have seen pedigree Bulldogs go for as much as R17 000.00
  15. Love those mini's! The idea is to have a fixed blade as an EDC without the excessive size.
  16. I have only heard brilliant things about the tanto! However I cannot get my head around the tanto style tip. How does it work in real life?
  17. It is the M16 Razorblade. Awesome knife indeed! *on some websites it is also known as the "Classic"
  18. So I thought I would share my EDC collection with the group: Left being a stainless mini fixed blade with giraffe bone scales: Made by Jeff Angelo 2nd from left a damascus mini fixed blade with ivory scales: Made by Harris Engelbreght 3rd: My trusty CRKT, you just can't go wrong here. 4th: A titanium folder, also hand made
  19. Looking good there Franky! Just have it hardened properly. There is a guy in Pta a friend of mine uses. Will try and get his number for you. *Frankie is sent you a PM with his details
  20. Rolo is enjoying an afternoon nap while I'm studying for boards...
  21. Sheesh! Goodluck Tumbles, hope he heals up soon!
  22. As I got back from the gym last night I was greeted with this sight:
  23. Sorry to hear about your loss tumbles.
  24. It's only an honour to have her! PS, it was not the idea to make you tearful sir but I just had to share with Hub-land.
  25. So Rolo has been with me for about 4 or 5 days now, it took her about 5 minutes to settle in and make herself at home. This is as still as I could get her to take a photo Sunday evening. So far what I've learnt: Sleeping position is not important, just as long as it is snuggly and warm This is her version of begging, she just leis there untill you feel guilty. Walking is cool, just as long as it's not hot outside I am not a morning dog...
