As a matter of interest does any body know how many of the local pro teams race clincher and how many race tubbie,or is it a given at that level to race tubbie,and for that matter do any of pro tour teams race on clincher.

Yip exactly the same shoes,unfortunately not the white but only the black,but for the price I am not complaining,very happy with them,bargain of the year.According to the sales guy at the adidas shop in world wear they the only branch in the Jhb area that have them.They had another style but those only had plastic soles and they were R999 so these shoes are a steal.I went to westdene cycles after i purchased mine and the exact same shoes were R2250.

Hi guys,just got back from my morning ride,heading on Zuurfontein RD(heading south from Tembisa towards Isando) I saw something in the distance that looked like a road block which is usual on this road,unfortunately as I got up close I saw a buckled bicycle in the yellow lane.There was a traffic cop and 2 ambulances in attendance.I could not see the condition of the cyclist.Not sure if his/her next of kin would of been informed,so if anybody knows of a person that was on this route this morning and they seem to be running late maybe check with the local hospitals in this area.The bike looked like a Trek, racing bike,it was blue and white with the red lettering,looked like araound 2001-2003 model.

AR cable,not to confuse you but I think you should still take a look at the plasma.

Think you mean HDMI(high definition multimedia interface) input,there is a differance,if you have HDMI inputs it does not mean you have a HD or even HD ready panel.HD refers to the resolution the panel can produce.

1080i is sufficient(HD ready),1080p is good for PS3 or if you got a blu ray player,only around 10 movie titles available for full HD(1080p),when DSTV broadcast in HD it will be 1080i(720p),so not worth the premium you pay.Dont be fooled by the resolutions you see on the demo units in retailers,they use HD "streamers" to get those high resolutions.If you buy yourplasma/LCD make sure you get high quality cables to connect from DSTV/DVD to your panel,makes a noticable differance in picture quality.

Go to Stax they got some good deals at the moment,LCD not so good for live broadcasts,tend to have a slight image drag.LCD perform better in bright light and plasma better in low light.

Have to agree with Spinnekop,have had my eurus wheelset for about 3years,never had to be trued,never broken a spoke and they still spin forever,great wheels. Malkie2007-12-03 09:56:24

Strange I have had 2 claims with Santam,through my broker that were cycling related,one recently for a frame and one a couple of years ago for a wheelset,never had any issues,there wasnt even an assesor involved,in both cases payment was made within a week,all I had was a replacement quote from my lbs.Maybe it pays to go through a broker

Up Kloof Rd Bedfordview(from west to east)than right up Fishers hill(past lovers leep) is quite a good one.

I am looking to buy a new saddle,have been considering all these options mentioned in this post,the decision just gets harder the more you read up on saddle choices.Seems it could be an expensive exercise to finally get to the right saddle.

Sad and scarey,I also use this road at least once a week,actually used it this morning was totally unware of the incident that happened yesterday.
