Now I have FOMO. You were braver than us. We stayed in bed, by the time we got to gym at 9 then rain was coming down sideways!

First walk on the mountain behind our house since the fire. Still black but so many spring flowers and green bulbs have pushed through the ashes. Dogs were unfit though - for the last 6 months their daily walk has been Boyes drive on a lead now they got to sprint up almost vertical steps. Not even halfway up they were already stopping under every tree. They still haven't got out of bed this morning!

Nice to see him up and about and glad he lost the cone - it's just not cool. The incision looks good -" like a cornish pasty" as a patient once commented to me after his below knee amputation.

That's terrible Tumbleweed. I know of an adult basset who was rescued with a broken leg, eventually needed to be amputated. The family called him Oscar. He had no problem adapting.

Don't dogs take after their owners?

Shame, I agree she looks rather sheepish! Boerboels seem to like eating small dogs for sport.
