  9. I can do the R400 - R800, but the double price stuff is blerry ridiculous. This is the type of block plane I'm looking for, less aggressive angle specifically for end grain; http://www.jonzimmersantiquetools.com/tools/block_plane_b.jpg Works particularly well to create a friction surface when boat building out of plywood.

  12. Try finding a good quality (not made in China) block plane for under R1600... Please if one of you kind hubbers have an old rusty one lying around I'll gladly pay for it as long as China was not the country of birth.   13. My Granddad was 11 years old in 1910 and witnessed Halley's comet and told me about it. He died in 1982 and when it came by in 1986 I spent many weekends on the Vaal River watching it in the period February to April when it was really visible. Also carved the date into tree on my old mans friends plot along the river.
  14. Just a thought...have you considered feeding them flakes (like one would gold fish) on a more regular basis (daily) to increase feed ingestion up to a nominal size of say 100g per fish. Then switch to the pellet feed. At what weight do you plan to harvest the fish? Do you weigh your feed or is this project not that scientific?
