    Who remembers?

Yes, fact. Was quite an interesting story on RSG Radio about it and how it all went wrong. I'll search for that podcast tonight and pass it on. It was actually a genealogist who found the problem and exposed it as incorrect.

    Who remembers?

She never actually existed, was the figment of someones imagination...the others were all true though. The truth behind her non-existence was questioned and eventually verified through research, genealogy. The actual point of her "story" was pinpointed to a 1926 story/fictional writing of Eugene Marais, it was a piece he wrote for the then Huisgenoot.

Gerald, if my memory serves me, it was actually on at some obscure day and hour, like Saturday after the rugby before the news

You must be referring to Mirage... The pilots were Tanguy and Laverdure...man I also loved that series...it was in a special type of Afrikaans called Oorklankiaans, specially designed for TV http://aerosociety.com/assets/images/wordpress/aerospace-insight/files/2011/08/chevaliersduciel.jpg http://www.imcdb.org/i058574.jpg
  9. I used the same knife in February 1986, by now not 10 years old anymore, to carve my initials and H.C. with the date on a wattle tree on the banks of the Vaalriver. The H.C. was for sighting Hally's Comet...it sported two tails that night and was supposed to be at it's brightest only in March 1986, but my recollections were that February were better. Not long after the bolt holding the blade and handle together worked loose and I moved on to other knives
  10. I got this for my 10th birthday...a day before me dad and I went fishing for a week...very few wattle saplings survived that week http://www.gear4dad.com.au/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/3/3/33081_rambo_style.jpg

  14. Hi Pet People, do any of you know of GSD breeder that breeds GSD's without the Hyena stance. In other words, ones that actually look like dogs? I'm sure my question might infuriate some owners, but it's not their natural stance or breeding. Thanks Ed

Fact, I'm hunting a specific Chima set, everyone tells me the same thing..."we can't source this set, that one and that one...all suppliers out of stock"... So have it and two alternatives on back-order...
