  1. For some reasons we've seen instances where certain browsers are stubbornly hanging onto cached files even after a hard refresh. Clearing out cache should resolve it.
  2. This is what should be showing:
  3. Hmmm, that looks like something isn't loading correctly in your browser. Likely some old cached files causing trouble. Please try hitting Ctrl + F5 on the page (or Cmd + Shift + R on Mac) to fully reload the page.
  4. Thanks. Size filtering isn't available on the top-level bikes category given the varying sizing systems on road vs. MTB so it does only show on the lower level selection. @Sandro could you share the link where you're not seeing filtering?
  5. No one in their right mind would or should remove the size filter. It's still there:
  6. Well spotted. Yes, the foundations of the change (that will soon be free of bugs) is a smarter search engine that will correct minor misspellings and better match text based search. e.g. previously a search of "Large MTB" would yield very few results as it was searching for that literal phrase in an advert title. Now the search "knows" that MTB = mountain bike and to search in the mountain bike category. Edit: But first we need to fix the mess we made!
  7. Hi all, Apologies for this! We're working on a fix furiously. Yesterday morning we released some updates to the search feature. Some big improvements under the hood, but with it came some gremlins around filtering and sorting that we somehow missed in testing.
  8. When we were busy with the platform rebuild in 2019/2020 we aggressively cut away anything non-core in the interests of getting the project complete. If there's interest we're happy to add a NCR section back in the classifieds. With some limitations - they wouldn't appear in the all ads feed or home page to avoid cluttering the core feeds for those who don't want it.
  9. I've let them know. For the moment we've removed the links from the article.
  10. Pulse.tv looks neat! Also on Youtube:
  11. There is a R85k carbon model in case you missed that detail... Supercaliber SL 9.6 – R85 000.00 – Arrival Early October 2023 Top end bikes from many brands have been in R200k territory for a good number of years now. We should see many of them (Trek and others) on the course in the Glasgow XCC and XCO. And probably a good few on a trail near you soon. Edit: Whether R220k or R85k it's a chunk of change, no arguing there. It's just hardly a new phenomenon and always interesting that folks pick out the extreme end of the scale.
  12. Probably better placed in this thread. Most of these Facebook ads with high-end bikes at low prices are scams and not bikes actually in the seller's possession. They typically copy info from other legitimate ads.
  13. We'll hunt for these but if you recall them please DM me or report the accounts. Thanks.
  14. Thanks for reporting this. There's a similar issue with another deal in progress via Bike Hub Pay. Based on the issues and reports this is not the type of behaviour we want or expect on Bike Hub. The account has been banned.
  15. Due to the nature of the issue it's very possible that it would have affected multiple devices. As a quick test you can try logging in or browsing via an incognito tab. If that works fine then the issue is browser cache.
  16. It's likely just an issue with the cache on Chrome. Please try a forced page refresh - Ctrl + F5 or Cmd + F5. Or clear your browser cache.
  17. Please could you retry, there was a general issue affecting certain parts of the site earlier but was resolved earlier this morning.
  18. Thanks for mentioning it here. Could you share the links to the sections you maintain (for Cecilia Forest, Cork Trees, Southern Cross Drive & Green belts)? I did spot some well maintained segments on Trailforks, but admittedly got lost in all that goes on on there.
  19. We had some overly zealous firewall rules in place that would have been impacting some edit and other functionality on the forums, apologies!
  20. Does the same occur trying to edit any post or only those made via mobile?
  21. Apologies for this. On Saturday we detected an attempted brute force attack on our site. The source was via 1000's of unique IP addresses all using VPN providers. As a temporary mitigation/precaution we've had to block all access via VPN. If you use a static IP address you're welcome to DM it to me and we can whitelist it in the interim.
  22. Looks like a definite scam. The same bike (same photos) were listed on Bike Hub a few weeks ago. A reverse image search with Google Lens or similar services will usually pick these up.
  23. It’s something we’re looking into to add friction for a would-be scammer. A screenshot is so easy and sufficiently hi-res that disabling right click has arguably limited benefit but the more difficult we can make their lives the better. I see this particular bike was also listed on Facebook by the original seller. Most likely that the info was lifted from there since it’s where they already operate!
  24. Seems that they've lifted the details from here: https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/dual-suspension-bikes/654690/2022-trek-top-fuel-7-medium-frame I'd guess that there would either be a request for a deposit or a mugging when you arrive to collect. That seems to be an MO with many Facebook buyers and sellers lately.
  25. The presser from SRAM is up here: https://bikehub.co.za/news/sram-announce-gx-eagle-transmission-bronze-stealth-brakes/ We hear via the vines that stock is expected to be in SA within the next week or so. Also stuck on non UDH but there's something about these new cranks 🤤
