When I was at varsity we did a comparitive study on all of the available sports drinks. Amazingly, Energade and Powerade proved to be amongst the worst due to the high levels of sugar. Cytomax is good, but it also depends on the person. I personally cannot ride on Cytomax, but I know others who cannot ride without it. Personally, I use water. Lots of it when I ride. But I would say the best part is experimenting for yourself...find what works for you.

Ha!! I could make the national disabled team with my hand bud!! I shattered my hand in a Madison years back. It has deteriorated over the last few years, and I only have 10% use of it, and very little strength in my left arm. But I could try, just dunno how well it would go!! Oh those officials!! I must say that I am really glad Martin is putting on an event. Good for him. His parents used to put on some fantastic racing, so its brilliant to see he is prepared to do the same. I hope he gets lots of riders...

Believe me, I have tried. And I do believe I had asked him if he was interested in the position. I'm curious to see the standpoint. I would love to think that someone with cycling at heart is interested in the position, and to subsequently affect the change needed. We have too much "cloak & dagger" going on I feel, and as such I'd like to know whats coming...

As a cyclist I'd like to know what he's prepared to do/change. Its all in the open then.
