I got into trouble for driving too fast in Suikerbosrand!! I thought I was a rally champ!! I had to go test those twisty roads!! HR...Pearl Jams 10 is a good riding CD! As are...Marilyn Manson's Mechanical Animals+Golden Age, any Audio Slave album, Deftones, LIVE its all good, as long as its thrashing & loud!!

Ha! My posse at the moment consists of just 1 HR!! Those days are gone!! The convertible went a few weeks back as well, so now the music is a little muffled!!

An alternative when riding in the Suikerbos nature reserve is this...have a following car, with windows down and music blaring!! Oh, and a sexy young thing in a bikini to 'encourage' you while climbing!! The iPods make the miles go by so quickly!!

I forgot about this posting. I hate to inform everyone, but my good friend passed away on saturday. She had sustained very severe head trauma. She did come out of the coma for a few days and looked to be on the mend, but took a turn for the worse late friday, and passed away on saturday morning. She will be sorely missed, and my deepest sympathy goes to her family & friends. Thanks for all your comments guys.

Personal vendettas are fun...lets face it?! TomB...interesting first post. Well, the info that I was given, by Diane and Justin, was that the shop was purchased between 3 people. Gren & Diane being two of them. So, if my info is wrong, it only came by way of them anyway. I can see what is going on though...I can read between the lines. I am still waiting for a reply to my emails... However, this thread is meant for SA MTB Champs, so rather than pull it apart...just start another 'anti GreyOwl' thread like Muxman did a while back. (Thats not personal??)

I am glad to see this post from Diane. Because it shows me that she and Grenville are aware of what is being said. And that they are still refusing to get back to me. Tells me a lot. I've spent a lot of money in their shop, and they never turn that down...so why no response to my emails, or wishes to do something for cycling? I was accused of having a go at Gren on a public forum, but it seems the only place that I can now get a response. But the best part for me is this...I laughed at the fact that Muxman thought an SA Champs jersey was actually an 'Aussie' jersey. I pointed out, that as a member of Grens club, he must have seen Gren or Diane in the exact same jersey at some time. So, it shows me this Mr & Mrs Scullard...your only concern seems to be the credibility of an SA Champs jersey. Nothing more. Hope to hear from you soon Diane...

Generally, I tend to try and avoid the actual Comaro Hill!! Only when I am punishing myself...or the missus is following in the car will I attempt Comaro!!! Ever tried Barbara Avenue in Glenvista? Its short (300m) but it hurts like hell!! My missus folks live at the top!! I do reps up that hill...and its not too busy!!
