With reference to the earlier post in which someone was locked up, she was locked up for being in the wrong EM. She was arrested for being in possesion of something that was not genuine. That licence was issued by somebody corrupt, and after it was proved that she was innocent, no charges stuck. So my point is still, if your ass is thrown in jail, its coz you have done something wrong...if you are innocent, you need not worry.

It was terrible what happened in the old SA. No denying that. But now its very much the same thing, and as Slowpoke pointed out, retribution will never accomplish anything other than prolonged hatred. But, the old SA did have its vantages. We did not need the rest of the world for anything, and now we cant take a pee without having to apologise for it.

You have a valid point. Its just wrong what goes on in SA. Napalm, I think that is half of the problem in SA. Nobody ever complains enough. Listen to me...do not ride with it again. Replace it. Or you will be replacing teeth in the near future. A crack no matter how small is not good...and with the strain and weight resting on the fork during a ride, its only gonna get worse.

If you buy a bike simply based on aesthetics, you are going to be very upset with your purchase in the end. Also, if your prepared to go out and make a R25K purchase the first time, then you really need to get your 'ducks in a row' Go to a bike shop (ie Cyclelab) and discuss the intended riding with someone in the know. Just purchasing a Cervelo coz its widely accepted as a great bike is foolish. If you have never ridden a proper racing bike, you are not going to be comfortable on a Race ready machine like that. Your money would be better spent getting a slightly less expensive bike, but something thats going to work for you.
