  1. The ohlins forks have a 1 piece steerer and csu, there is no merge, so defo not that
  2. I’ve been wondering, have an ohlins fork, with a 1 piece csu, have changed everything, from Headset to handlebars to stem, and still creaking, so I’m lost🫠
  3. Did the same, about 6km into first ride with a new wheelset and tyres, wrote off the tyre and rear wheel😢
  4. Exactly what I was thinking
  5. Ah ok, cool, makes sense seems like I have been misunderstanding the main purpose, always thought of it as just telling you how far away a car is while you just riding, which doesnt rlly make a difference at all.
  6. I hear that, just wondering how does it actually keep you safe?
  7. I ride between Emmarentia and Saints quite often, thats just a bit more than half the way, only area I know of that might cause issues is the area around Dowgbox, other than that pretty good, id just stay away earlier mornings if you want to be a bit more careful.
  8. Dont mean to be ignorant, but whats the point of using the Varias? Honestly just curious, I barely ride on the road, and I do own a Varia (Gifted to me). I have used mine and dont see any point really. Added: I know it detects cars, but doesnt exactly tell you wether its gonna hit you, so doesnt really help in that regard.
  9. Yea, they defo arent the same bike, but I still dont like that ad, it looks like a scam, simply too cheap
  10. Only just realised, look at the seat tube, they differ, either 2 diff sizes or different year models
  11. Grips and bottle cage differ, easy to swop out, but still dont match
  12. I have ridden a 2016 trance, newer model 160mm softail and a 130mm hardtail at wolwe, Most fun would be on the hardtail if I had to be honest. The speed I would say is a minor difference, where the trance and hardtail were only slower on rough stuff. There is a difference, but in terms of fun, don’t think the difference is big enough to warrant a full bike upgrade, especially if you don’t race.
  13. Honest biggest changes I would say would be slacker geo, 1x11 or 1x12 is verrry lekka and those forks that came on the trance aren’t my favourite. You could spend around 15-20k, swop the drivetrain and change the fork for a 29er fork and wheel, and you’d basically have a new bike.
  14. As far as I know only Cushcore style inserts are an issue, Csixx Foamo’s should be fine?
  15. I actually don’t even ride them in sport mode, but normally only ride them when doing jibs or messing around in the street, so nothing rough.
  16. Agreed, they veeeery sticky, love it.
  17. More travel isn’t always better, I recently bought a 160/160 and feel like it’s too much, I actually switched the rear travel to 145mm yesterday. The EXe is a do it all bike, just like the fuel. More than enough for any non downhill trails we have in this country. Maybe not the fastest, but more than capable. Personally, the only thing that I want to hear on my bike is my freehub going mad, anything else drives me crazy. These differences between people is why there are different products for different people. I do agree both bikes are great for their class, but can’t compare them.
  18. Not sure I would agree. The Kenevo is 170mm and the EXe 140/150mm, so 2 diff bikes for 2 diff applications. EXe weighs 18.6kg, where Kenevo is 18.7-19.1kg from what I can find, not exactly lighter? EXe is quieter than Kenevo. Kenevo is also MOER pricy, 155k at bottom spec, vs the EXe 9.7 with almost the same spec, for only 125k.
  19. The best riding shoes, love messing around in them, have logged quite a few hours, as you can see😂
  20. Could not agree more with @droo and @Jehosefat
  21. Would honestly say, the best investment ive made while riding flats is proper technique. Its all technique, I am able to bunny hop nearly as high with normal Shimano SPDs and crocs, as with my flat pedals and shoes. You dont need your feet stuck to your pedals. Personally would check around a bit on YT and spend a bit of time in the driveway.
  22. Would honestly say, this is the first ebike Ive seen that I would actually consider buying in the near future.
  23. Steel is mooi?👀
  24. Im actually on the exact opposite of that spectrum. Normally do ride flats, but when riding clips, I run them pretty tight to not clip out accidentally, and have no issues with clipping out when I have to. Its all personal preference IMO.
  25. Where you located, completely totaled my mech few days ago, could maybe use mine and the one with knackered clutch to make a whole one
