  1. I remember seeing quite a few 27.5 tires at Melo Velo, think it was last week
  2. Agreed, also love my foam inserts
  3. I’m abt 92kg or so atm (slowly busy dropping), I’m on Arches tho, which are a bit beefier
  4. Agreed, also have some arches, mk4, and love them, they are on a hardcore hardtail, which I use for jumps a lot, as well as the occasional enduro line, and no issues at all, they have done about 3000-3500km. Highly recommend them. Those jumps do include a few cases and whips I wasnt able to bring back, havent even buckled them yet,
  5. Exactly, will cost more to prosecute him, than that what was lost, and as you said he knows this and knows nothing will come of it. Just look at our good friend Taun, who has scammed a lot more than Mr. Messi.
  6. In my opinion EXACTLY what they should be used for🦾
  7. Yup, assholes are everywhere, unfortunately part of the game…
  8. I’m not hating on ebikes, just saying they should be separate. Actually quite like them, my Grandfather started riding one when he was 75 years old, after trying and failing to ride again after having a knee replacement. They definitely get people onto the trails that otherwise wouldn’t be able to or willing to. Personally would love one for enduro laps, would just be much more fun, without absolutely killing the legs on the climbs with nothing left for the fun bit.
  9. Agreed, also don't get what's wrong with being a bit competitive, its good motivation, personally love seeing myself slowly climbing up the leader boards. Its also very demotivating knowing that on my fav segment which runs parallel to a tar road is dominated by roadies that ride next to the trail and one dude that did 800m in 0 seconds... Would be amazing if leader boards would be completely accurate, free of cheating etc, but that wont ever happen, you'll always find someone wanting to "be the fastest" even though its not a level playing field.
  10. Was reposted again few mins ago, even same pics, for R10000 and deleted in a few mins, admins are awake 🦾🔥
  11. You ok at least? First time I’ve seen this thread, while back my dad was chatting with an older guy, (abt 65-70ish), the guy simply couldn’t understand why everyone was wearing helmets these days… Typical “Back in my day…” mumbo. Anyway, eventually we come down, and get going further along the trail, not even 300m away, my dad loses his front wheel on a landing, smacks his head onto the floor and cracks his helmet. Fortunately all fine, just slight concussion and broken Garmin mount, but have never been so glad for a helmet in a long time.
  12. Not sayin he isn’t or that he’s innocent, just a possibility
  13. Starting to wonder... Whats the chances? Lionel is a bit on the older side, which means, prob not the most secure password, that his account got hacked, the scammer assumed his identity and just had the money sent to his own account under Lionels name, the name doesnt have to match the account holder name. The banks also cant and wont release the real account holders name without a warrant, which simply isnt worth the polices time for R7500 and the scammer gets away scot free. Lionels name is tarnished and noone is the wiser. If this is the case, pretty smart scam I guess...
  14. Very nice price range to be shopping, basically as good as you gonna get, bang for buck wise, especially 2nd hand, sometimes even get some near top spec bikes that come through at that price
  15. And the 2 reviews, would also have trusted him to be honest. Thinking it might be a guy that is in a tight spot financially, and this the "best" option to get some cash quickly. Makes the most sense.
  16. Am in the only one thinking its just TOO close to Lionel Messi?
  17. If you not too far away, dont mind taking a look, free of charge ofc, could be a short chain, or worn chainrings as Spin suggests.
  18. Is it a new cassette? And new chain? Check the chain wear, might be stretched, and time to replace, cassette looks to be in good shape. Assuming old chain with new cassette?
  19. Can still try and if it fails, just get a new one?
  20. Don't forget the young ones, Rory Kirk in 57th and Beanie Thies, 26th with the women💪
  21. Hey guys, has anyone got some spare cassette spacers, the ones between the cogs or know where I can find some?
  22. Ah ok, was wondering, thought it was mainly to make it easier to leave reviews, but that makes more sense. Yup, pretty easy to just make another fake email. Have you guys ever considered requiring people to verify phone numbers? Could make it more difficult for new accounts?
  23. I have realised, Bikehub tracks who clicks on your number on ads that you have posted, when I marked one of my ads sold, it recommended me to review a person that contacted me only through whatsapp, never at all on Bikehub, could be a way to check who these guys are?
  24. I’m assuming you aren’t using gloves? Never have any issues with grip with decent gloves Another pro is you rlly do save your hands in case of a fall
  25. Maybe where the csu and stanchions connect, all I can think of
