have got 185mm rotors front and rear and have never had any issues.nearly threw myself over the bars first time i used them tho!awesome stopping power too.dont think you will be making a mistake if you choose to run the 185mm's
i think sometimes,some people,get carried away with all the latest gadgets and gizmos and forget about just riding for the pure fun of it all.who cares what bike you or the next oke rides.seems to me that a bike,whether a 29er or 26er,hardtail or full suspension,still has to be ridden by a dedicated rider to win a race.
definitely get ahold of Grant.He is i great guy and Howick has some unbelievable riding.you can ride all day there and not do it all.The locals are really friendly people too,so you should have good fun.
absolutely agree with this.pro's are huge marketing tools for the bike companies and thats why they use them.who actually gives a dam what you ride anyway,as long as you are having FUN which is why we all started riding in the first place.isnt it?
stans is the shizz.never had issues with it.have had 'asteroids' as well but have never thought they were a problem.justtake them out and give them to the cat to chase around the lounge floor.
I bought my bike cos of the price ,it looks strong and is,as well as the back up service that came with the deal.very stoked with my choice and so is my wife who got a similar bike
