    Thanks Divernick and V12 and Cotic SA First ride today, was an awesome ride - miss a second bottle cage mount though and must still organise a chain , had to reposition the wheel a few times

    I rode in last year August from Prince Albert and rode out again the next day. I met a very friendly lady who is one of the original Kloofers. Having read this thread I asked her about the access to the Ladder. She was adamant that access had always been available and that she sent her son to cut the fence whenever it was repaired because of something in a title deed in her possession. (If I remember correctly) She was quite enthusiastic in her outrage!! I personally hope the issues are sorted out amicably and that the route will remain open so we can experience the history.

    Replacing a hanger is cheap, having to buy a new wheel when it breaks and throws your RD into your spokes, not so!!!!
