  1. Aye! How good a marksman are you??
  2. It may have appeared trivial at first, but apparently not! 3 PAGES later...
  3. Indeed, Who Needs Drugs, when we have you around mate?? Stunning advice. Here's mine. Stick with your day job.
  4. Sorry for you, but Spain takes the winner. This has got to be the sexiest frame alive....AND it is a 29'er, and even I am going to convert when I am bigger ! The attention to detail is stunning. The lines and geometry...perfection. HANDS UP, who rides one?
  5. Dude. Johan Bornman - PM him. He does servicing classes in CT. Not sure when next one is, but you will never have to pay for another fork service in your life once someone has shown you how.
  6. Yeah. TT not so lekker for mud. Try Crossmark at the back, Monorail front. TT grip like mad in loose and gravelly, but Crossmark seem to shed better in muddy conditions. TT is not the best tyre for front though anyway.
  7. It helps you to remember where you put it...
  8. Yep. Phone Cape Cycle System. Service is dead easy. All the exploded views and waffle you need is on the SRAM Tech site. You will need a pair of Internal Ring Circlip Pliers. The ones with the slight bend in the end are better. (when you squeeze handles the jaws close) Like dis...
  9. Ride that bike dude. You will be looking at bigger better sooner than you know.
  10. Not you knuckle! The other guy...
  11. Just watch out for head tube as well. Most carbons are tapered, so you will need tapered steerer tube. New headset. Plench of the new ones also have press fit BB. If you buy second hand, check for cracks where head tube and underside of downtube meet. Where downtube and chainstays meet BB, and where seatstays meet seat tube. Picked up a Spez stumpy tonight and almost hit myself in the chin...
  12. What he said. Now tell us why?
  13. Neat ! Needs Saint all round....
  14. YEAH ! 2,5 hours and not one dropped chain... :D Thank you Mr Usher!
  15. You might want to suggest same to this lad.....https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/112806-waterproof-cellphone-pouches/
  16. Actually. Maybe you and this dude : https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/112806-waterproof-cellphone-pouches/ should get together and come up with a scratch proof water bottle pouch, that doubles as a waterproof cell phone pouch. Maybe you will be onto something there!!??
  17. Exakkery!!!!
  18. Nubbin! How dare you use Saint and SLX in the same sentence!??!
  19. John? John who? Stop name dropping nubbin!
  20. So let me get this straight. Just in case I have eaten a 'roided cow lately...... How does this testing thing work? Like, if I come 50 out of 300 in 2009, then 30 out of 300 in 2010, then 21 out of 300 in 2011 (deep breath) and then 3 out of 300 in 2012, is some lady in a nurse outfit going to accost me at the finish line and ask me to pee in a branded water bottle? Then ROAG is going to send me an email saying that I ain't welcome at any more 'races'? Howzit work? Or am I safe from molestation and embarrassment because I have never appeared on the cover of Ride mag? I won a 25k race right back when I started this lark, only cause there was no one in front to hold me up. The finish okes didn't even know I had come in till 10 minutes after I did. I didn't even get handed a free Aquelle, let alone asked to pee in the bottle! I migrated to 45+'s after that and I have been losing ever since. BTW, who is Lussel Rund anyway?
  21. Either is good. Shadow is cool. Just go for a Rapid Rise derailleur. It should be law for mountainbiking.
  22. Spelling and grammar classes would be a start. That way you would then be well placed to read The Big Blue book, and others. If not, I suggest GOOGLE. You don't even need to be able to spell. It auto corrects for you. Good initiative though. Well done. You will have a lot more of your salary over to spend on bling and parts, although all that extra time you rave on about may well be consumed if you go for SRAM rather than Shimano.
  23. They start looking sideways at ROAG and I will take 'em out !!!! Keep these winging bunches of politicians out of KZN. ROAG have got it wrapped thanks very much. We don't need any idiot interference here, thanks for the offer.
  24. 1200 wet or dry sandpaper. 3 minutes Sorted.
  25. Hmmm. Haven't covered Basic Weapons Training yet !!!
