Fork: Front Shock: Rear What bike do you have? Where / what do you ride? Why do you want to drop travel? Less travel will result in a steeper Head Angle. This will sharpen up steering, but not necessarily in a good way. Steeper HA will also move your weight on the bike forward and could lead to over-worked front wheel. Not good. It will also drop your BB height and shorten you wheelbase.

Raji is cool for XC or Marathon. They are thin and not hard-wearing, but can work for DH/FR/AM if you don't mind replacing every so often. Comp is a great glove. Harder wearing with a lot more protection in case of offs. Both are great though.

Hey Terry, We use the Ergofit system/program for bike fitment in conjunction with a "manual" fitment. Like Crow has said, an online or computer fitment can only be considered a guideline unless you go the Sports Instistute and have a specialist do the fitment and give feedback. The best computer system in the world will not pick on the small err's in your stroke or posture and it certainly cannot factor in previous injuries or deformities. That's why we use a bit of both. Ergofit is one of the best systems on the market. We start off with that and then finish with a manual check for finer adjustments. At this stage rider feedback becomes vital. We do all of this for free. Gratis. Niks. Mahala. EVERY new bike's owner gets a free set-up then another one at his first service interval, but we also do this for none buyers...as long as you are a fellow enthusiast and enjoy a good cup of coffee...or tea. Shimano has been around since forever so the vote will be a bit lob-sided! Customers who have switched to Look swear by them and will most likely never go back. We haven't had any issues other than the cleats being on the soft side.

It's not paint or decals you should worry about. It's getting water passed seals and into places where you can't relube or regrease without some effort.
