  3. Hopefully it will showcase a few items the fellow hubbers havent seen yet.

  8. have to say I like the look of the new Shimano line
  9. Soz okes, please exuse my ignorance as I just moved to Lonehill. Starting at Pineslopes, how do I get to the Spruit?
  10. I would also like to know! I guess it should be pretty safe as long as you stay away from the R511 as it heads into Diepsloot. 30kms? hmmm. What is your starting point?
  11. Exactly. I will be proper p!ssed if I sign a 24 month contract and end up having to use EDGE for the duration of the contract. Is there anyway to test the signal strenght before entering into such a contract?
  12. How can I check if I am covered on their 3G network? Does the map on their website distinguish between the stronger coverage areas? The reason I ask is I went into one of their stores and the person assisting me could not for the life of her figure out if I am covered with the 3G network or not.
  13. Holla gents So I am in the process of building up my new XC race bike and now have to decide on a groupset, so I have decided on SRAM x9 for the time being. However now I need to decide on whether I want to go with 2x10 or not. Problem is I am not a strong climber (my climbing is getting a lot better though) and thus worried about losing gears. Any advice? (Other than to just train more)

  16. Ah thanks Covie! SID it is then! Now I just need to find some turquoise decals.
  17. I used the search function but didn't seem to find a thread that gives an outright answer. Bike = yeti ARC RIding = XC (will be used for racing) Looking to spend about 5k, and would prefer a fork that can accomodate a lock-out. Also has to be white! LOL
  18. Hi Guys Need some advice on a fork for my new mtb build. So far I have looked at the Rockshox SID Race, however I do not know what the competing Fox shock would be (100mm) and the cost thereof (can get the SID for about 4,500 new). Thanks lads
  19. Nice! Currently listening to the Attack and Release album. My song for today: My My, Hey Hey (Out of the Blue)by Neil Young. Quality
  20. I don't know what a good price is but looks like 15k is around the price you will pay for this bike. Might be some better deals out there. I would also like to hear some comments on this bike as it does seem to have some nice gear for the price and I like the colours? lol
  21. Sick looking bike! Price for frame and built as in pick?
  22. I might be wrong but they are not allowed in road races, someone once told me they are deemed unsafe in roadraces. Could that be right?
  23. +1. Well put
  24. Please PM some background, might be able to help improve your future experience at Ocean Basket
