I ran a set of Crests for over 4 year before i had any issues (spoke holes started to crack) I never even had them trued in that time. I am a heavy guy so they really surprised me how long they lasted. I did have them built properly to a set of Hopes and i believe that is why they lasted so long. Get the wheel built by somebody who knows what they doing and i think they will last. OEM build wheels dont last.

The best for me was the exchange. No more having to plug it into the computer to sync every time. Bluetooth to your phone makes life easy.

U can take to where u purchased it and they will sent it to Garmin or you can sent it them yourself. They have a repair centre in Rosebank. They will prob offer you a full replacement unit for just under 2K. Garmin are doing all there own repairs now.

The Fenix 5x strap should fit on the 3. I will have non original replacement strap in black in the next 2 weeks. They go for R200 if u can wait.

I use the bomb to seat the tire with no sealant in it. I then remove the air and the valve core. Then add the sealant through the valve. Use the floor pump to pump the tyre up again.

Why not mount it on your handle bar and get a chest strap HR.

Thanks will keep an eye out. Another question. Everybody is raving about the end cap/plugs, Why not also offer the end caps by themselves? I would buy some to have extra's in my tool box for when they get damaged.

Its not just about the Rim. Its also how it is built. Get someone who knows what they doing to build them.

Got a set of Crest on Hopes and a set of Flows on Superstars. The Flows are a much harder ride as you can get the spoke tensions tighter. Less flex
