Just leave out the power washer because you WILL force water into the seals of the Headset, BB, wheelbearings, freewheel and pedals, and eventually wash the grease out there as well. Never ever ever ever wash your bike with high pressure....... and do not tune me now that you do not spray in these areas....... that is bulldust and you know it!!!!!!!!!! Been using a HPW for years an spray the cr@p out of every nook and cranny. (Ok, not the fork seals) As long as you regrease every so often I never have a problem due to rust or excessive wear. How do you think most bike shops wash bikes? By hand?

Yeah, most degreasers and detergents will dull the frame if left on too long... Yip, no worse than sunlight liquid.....

Prepsol will dull and stain if it is left on too long. Just spray on and spray off.

  15. And the basic simple loop.
  16. That's a good question. I think we managed about 40kms but that includes some roads being ridden two three four multiple times. We were just searching for that brilliant section of bermed quadbike track. Us fast guys wanted to race it again. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. Ok here is the quadbike track map..... errrr fast second lap.
  17. Should be fine for the weight but try run a bit harder on the back to eliminate the squelch if it bothers you. I am 90kg and run at 40 PSI on the back.
  18. what is your weight?
  19. Ok, Confirmed.
  20. Less rigid without the tube... And pressure
  21. Mark, have done conversion on a wire and folding Karma and wire Tioga Yellow Kerim. i would imagine the Komodo will be fine too...
  22. it makes converting a pesky tyre simpler. You can inflate with out the core to get air in faster to seat the bead. And I'm lazy.........TNOSE_E2008-12-19 01:34:52
  23. Or just ask your LBS to order Continental 20" compac presta tubes. They have the removable core.
