  1. The only problem with running the cable inside, is if a fat tyre is used (2.3). When serious mud packs on the wheel, it clears against the fork. Could grind the brake line somewhat. TNOSE_E2008-07-10 01:49:03

  9. If you are in a group, ride the mine dumps in Benoni.... I also cycle the Pamona routes.
  10. Don't risk it! Would you like your wheel to come off at high speed.... It can be welded but not worth the risk of cracking again.

  12. I spent some time on the KZN south coast this past month. Being an avid MTB?er I obviously took a bike with. Where to ride? Awesome scenery, Well market trail, Some Technical stuff, Open every day, Accommodation. etc Part of the Sardine Classic route R20 rand a bike which includes a permit to ride in the Umtamvuma River Gorge and Nature Reserve I strongly recommend all MTB enthusiasts who have not tried these trails and are in the area to give them a spin.   14. I need to convert a KHS Alite 2000 from V?s to disk. My question here is about the frame mount. To weld or not to weld on an aluminium bracket? Has anyone had experience with bolt on disk brackets? If so are they available in SA? Thanks
  15. Does anyone know what the pros and cons are here of C-LOCK vs Bolt on disks? Are the calipers cross compatable? Thanks
