Did you thrash it round left right up down sideways a few times? It will seal with some time but keep a nice high pressure for now to allow the tyres bead to seat against the new tube liner. Also give the wheel a spin every time you pass. TNOSE_E2008-11-10 00:33:21

The wheels are not mine, but will ask the guy to give some feedback. I have used the green slim but find it too thick. The Proseal seems to work just as good as Joe's. We will see after 94.7,C2C and Babbas.TNOSE_E2008-11-07 02:03:42

Did 2 conversions last night on a Kenda Karma (used, folding) and Tioga Yellow Kirin Magnum 66 (also used and wire bead). This morning the Kenda had lost some air(might be due to the tyres prior use), Tioga still hard. I used (as a test) Raleigh ProSeal as a sealant. at R24 for 500ml at PNP you can't go wrong. I have done a few myself and it is quite scary how easy it is. Does help using a new tyre though. My only wonder now is which liquid is best and obviously cheaper than joe's?

The compact 20 slim will also work, just does not have the removable core. Also got the nylon tape, same as per the stans kit from Builders. It's called strapping tape. R20 for 5m. It's 48mm thick so you can cut the roll in half and have 10m.TNOSE_E2008-11-04 07:52:44

I have just come back from there now. I needed to swap a compact 20 slim tube(do not have removable core) for the plain compact 20 tube. He just took the tube from under the counter and swapped it for me. So they do have.

The tubless plugs can't repair all holes / cuts. And at some point using a tube is in the post.......

All fine and well leaving them in, but what happens if you flat one day and need to put a tube in? You now need to sit and pull all the bu@@ers out before you can ride the tube...
