  1. Pantani. U going to the Hub ride?
  2. Hi Pantani. Don't start again.... The cyclist can do what he wants and everyone else gets blamed because the officials didn't make sure that they abide by the rules? It's always easier to blame someone else for our own mistakes. It's always the motorist's fault if a cyclist is being hit if he/she drives on the wrong side of the road. I merely say that rules are rules. If we don't abide by them, we CAN NOT blame someone else! I rest my case.
  3. Rules are rules. If you can not abide by them, do you need someone to police everywhere to make sure that you abide by the rules? Thou shalt not kill! Are you going to kill someone because there isn't a policeman around? Get real! It wasn't the officials forcing the cyclist to ride on the wrong side of the road....
  4. Brake fluid is much better for a car's paintwork.....
  5. Ry teen die wind. Dit gee jou goeie oefening as jy nie bulte het nie. Onthou: TEEN die wind.... Sterkte
  6. IMHO you can have strength without power. Strength is the ability to do hard work for a very short time. Power is doing hard work for a much longer time. Weightlifting increases strength. Doing it with lighter weights and more reps develops power. In cycling you need power especially during those long uphills. This is where you loose the most time. So in conclusion the following equation: power = strength + endurance All above said IMHO.
  7. Duck, here comes popeye
  10. Can anyone tell me what is the difference between a fixed and a floating cleat? I currently have Shimano SPD road floating cleats. Which is the better cleat? FlyingCheetah2007-11-21 02:29:44
  11. Use a vacuum cleaner while you busy filing to prevent the shavings from falling into the frame... FlyingCheetah2007-11-15 06:43:18
  12. Started in HL. Doing around 40km/h until the turning point. On the way back, someone clipped my back wheel and fell. He also took out the lady on his left. I managed to stay on the bike and turned around to make sure they are OK. Could never catch up to the group I was riding with. Eventually ended with a time of 3:47. Next year I might have a decent road bike. Currently using a cheap Dunlop MTB. Enjoyed the ride though.
  13. Jy moet gemaklik voel. Dit help nie jy bly afgly van die saal af nie. Horisontaal is gewoontlik die beste.
