  3. Being 1.92m tall, I would say yes you will be okay with a 26" XL (The L will be too small) But it does feel like a clown bike for me with the "small" wheels. Since changing to the 29" wheels I had more fun on the bike because it felt more comfortable and stable My feeling around wheel size is: If you ride XS or S 26" will be good If you ride S or M 27.5" is better If you ride L or XL 29" is ideal. Yes S and M can also ride 29" but 27.5 just fits better. But back to the point... I think the L will be too small, but can work. Rather go for XL
  4. When is the next official ride Oom Weskus?
  5. Kritzie. I'm in Langebaan and also looking for partners. You riding road or MTB?
  6. Are you looking for a personal trainer of a training program? I have used Daisyway Coaching for a few years and they work out programs for you to fit in with your lifestyle. http://www.daisyway.co.za/ You can contact either Louise or Erica Green They coach some of the ABSA riders for the Epic Then there is also online training like FitTrack. http://www.fittrack.co.za/
  7. Jip... Not the lightest and prettiest, but in 4 years, never lost a single bottle. Don't know if you still get them.
  8. Great idea Slowbee. What distance are we talking about? Just wear brigher colors There is lots of coffee shops. Just need to find the right one. Durbanville Children's Home is a great idea.
  9. The Chuck Norris of cycling...
  10. And that still does not slow him down... Have you ever tried to follow his Tweets??
  11. Jip Annette will sort you out... She is good...(021 9755957). There is also Body & Bike 021 910 2840, but cannot comment on her work.
  12. Good post. I even saw one guy trying to dump his sachet into the rain water drain.
  13. Klink goed. Wanneer begin "oom" Popeye btw... Welkom terug op die fiets.
  14. This was my 14th Argus and first time with a "full" MTB. Like Ratty say.... You don't put slicks on a Giant Anthem. It was one of my toughest Cycle Tours but the most enjoyable yet. I could ride on the gravel and over man-holes covers without worrying about punctures. Flat sections and downhills I would run out of gears, but uphills was a joy keeping up with the road bikes.
