The Jazz is highly underrated, go check one out. Also nissan livina, Mazda 5 (but these are large), Fiat Doblo(fiats are solid and reliable). The you get something like a chev orlando. These are multi seater "vans" worthwhile to look into depending on your budget and see if it fits your needs. There are most likely some cheaper brand vehicles that you could get for a steal as well. Alternatively you could start a side business and get a Mazda marathon, Hiace or similar and offer shuttle services for fellow students around town and to those who cycle.

I think the Honda Jazz is hands down the best option. With seats down you can get a few bikes inside. An older station wagon type car could also work for you, but to find smaller ones are gonna be tough

Proper offroad tyres. The tyres for the suv like cheap no name brands vitour, maxtrek, linlong, durun all come i from 1round 9k up to 12k and one can get certain brand name tyres from 9 to 10kk. Then the tyres of last year are now around 15k. Just crazy!!

We were last week at glencairn and muizenberg. for a surf. My buddy got sick, but he stayed in long, where as I just caught about 4 waves and headed out. Not sure, but I joked with him about the staying in the K@K water long.
