    My toepeak aerowedge is similar. It carries my pump, 2 spare tubes. some patches and cash. Probably overkill, but I rather replace a tube than patch one first. The pack also has a nice mounting option for a light. Each to his own, use a bag or dont. Dem rules about red lights and stop streets........... are they followed too

    Tell that to my lungs when the asthma kicks in and they nearly give up. Or the the cancerous infection that was removed along with half an organ. Yet, I am still out there cycling on a std bicycle and when I cant manage that last steep section I get off and walk. The days we feel like doing a shuttle because I am not up for the long pedal to the top due to me not feeling well is definitely cause I am slacker.... Dont talk about what you dont know, you dont know everones struggles out there

    A few weeks back a guy was ranting about how ebikes are the future and how easy the climbs are at tokai. He was part of a fairly large group at tokai. I was waiting on some friends to catch up at broken road tokai and I just smiled. Then the group he was addressing left and he turned his focus to me and at the same time my friends arrived. As he was saying about his climbing, I asked him whats gonna happen when his battery dies? will you still be able to pedal that up the hill. He dropped his head and said no!

    One thing no one has mentioned is the maintenance costs around the ebikes. Battery lifespan( I think this is 3 years) and cost to replace or fix. Motor lifespan and cost to replace or fix. Then drivetrain parts. Chains are ebike specific, are cassettes and chainrings as well? I mentioned before, I rather buy myself another car or a motorbike. But I first choice would be to put that money towards investing in holiday accommodation.

    Exactly and that is why an Ebike is a different category of "cycling" much like electric skateboards!

    Thanks, I know about birds. A while back before bridal was closed, there used to be 4 smaller birds on that hill. I dont see them around there anymore.
