    At this years IM , we had friends who exited the water about 15 min after us, and came flying past on the bike shouting "kom manne lig daai bene". We just looked in awe and kept to our plan. We caught them on the run and finished +- 45min before them... It is mostly about the run...

    Nice one Dadbod , also entered this week again. Dont know if i am excited or stupid, but def don't want to miss it. It is awesome..... Take it all in... Watch out for Post IM Blues, it is real..

    There is a weekly swim at fisantekraal dam, this once in the week and once over weekend, But that is just fresh water if you would like to join that?

    i swim at Durbanville VA, there are a few Embark guys there also. I just do my own drills, do you need swim coaching?

    Guys what is going on with cassette prices? (xd drive). I must replace but am not going to give out circa 3500 for a cassette? Any other options available? cheers

    Travis - just a thought - why don't you get a flowbin? Collect all the backwash water and pump it back into the pool ? Thing we capies do with little water.

    Getting to the Spur waterpoint is ok - DO NOT EAT A SPUR BURGER - ( you will give it back again a few km later) The gravel road home after spur point is a total different animal, no matter what I do i always suffer there. I only get my 2nd breath about 10km from the end.

    On the cape town building saga.. my wife also works there and was also told that if day zero comes they will close office and it is not due to aircon, it is fire regs. There will be no pressure in the fire water supplies so it will be a fire and health and safety hazard.
