  1. Mix into 750ml bottle x4 Dridex TBS x2 Glucose TBS x2 Sucrose TBS x1 Fructose TBS Half tp Himalayan salt, bought at Durbell takes care of all electrolytes Cinnamon , Vanilla essence for flavor.

I have t agree, if there is one thing I don't skimp on it's my tyres, I use really Mtb tyres - 1200g for the Pair, anything lighter and you run the risk of not finishing your race. - That said, Shan Wilson use those pansie tyres but he has the technical skills to ride light weight tyres without slashing them.
  3. Bos, I admire your commitment to getting stronger but doing Hill intervals x3 a week will fry your legs and you body. Stick to 1x per week Hill Intervals and 1 x Tempo ride and then do 1 x Race as well - that's 3 hard days in a week, more than enough - for me anyways.
  4. Nope, all you need a 1x 20mins puke effort and your zones are worked out from there.
  5. Why do you need a PowerTap while racing??? Are you gonna pace yourself up the hills/flats or are you gonna try and stay with the bunch?

Bos, it don't have to be expensive, I've bought most of my parts for the Stumpy 2nd hand off the Hub and build it up to 9kg but it was a bit to light so fattened it up to 9.5kg - that's a nice solid weight for me. The SC SL I'm also building up again only using 2nd hand parts found on the hub - will have it at 10.7kg again - only problem is finding another fork that's sub 1.4kg with V-Brake bosses with 100mm travel - that's going to be the expensive part.
  8. I actually had a flat this morning - bike has be standing for a day and must have lost air slowly. I have a mixture of OKO and Stan's - wonder if that's the problem.
  9. Lilo put almost a Cup of the stuff in her tyre, Raced next day, got a flat, bombed it a few times, then walked back to the start. Was only a little torn hole that only later sealed when we got home. Then on her next ride, some story, flat again. I have to say, we are not impressed by the stuff so far.

  20. Oo, I went to Majik the weekend, I found it's pretty much the same except for some rocks that have been taken out on the dam side. The tricky rocky section along the Electric fence is still as stupid as eva. Dirtopia is fun but it's not free like Majik. How about Zevenwaght Dirtcrazy?
