  1. Hectic, Last week when I road pass that part some guy also grabbed at the back of my shirt, I thought he was joking cuz it'll be stupid to try and rob me. Then yesterday the same thing happend, I looked back at the guy and thought, wtf!?!? I thought it might have been the same guy and must've have some kinda metal condition. As I road off I was starting to think, maybe he was really trying to mug me, so I thought, would I really want to moer him, just now he had AIDS, THEN WHAT? Glad you got a way Fanie, I think you coming with me next time, Lilo will moer me if I got pass there alone...and by the sounds of it I'll need you as a body guard:-D
  2. David must be doing atleast 20hours AL, I see him every time I'm out training, I see you less often, I guess you only do like 15:-P
  3. 50KM/H WINDS, at David and Kevin to the mix = very good workout! I've never popped off so many times before, was brilliant!
  4. The SantaCruz site says a size L's Top Tube lengh is 24" ( 609.6mm )
  5. Can every one that rides a Giant Mtb pleez tell me how tall you are and what size frame you riding? Trying to figure out if I'd fit on a 21" at 1.82m thx!! M Marius2009-02-03 03:37:23
  6. Oh, update on my Rear KCNC Brake calipers that were pulling to the one side. I fixed them lalala!!! My LBS put a new cable in and extended it, but it still did not work. So I got home and I took it off, took it apart and reassembled it all again, this time I noticed there is a little pee pee that's suppose to go into a slot on the top and after I got it in there and put it back together again it worked fine. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> So in short, I think if it's pulling to one side you need to extend the cable housing, should take care of the problem.
  7. How much Tax on the shoes Boyee???
  8. My Feeling: Boyes Drive and my K@k KCNC Back brake spells one MOERSE CRASH!
  9. team Pansies?? Marius2009-01-29 07:14:39
  10. You said it, I have to us elike 10 cable ties on the V-brakes just to keep them not falling apart...but it's worth it:-P My front Road caliper works fine, it's the back one that's driving me up the f'ing wall!
  11. Yeah, I just noticed last night after doing Killarney without brake just how sensitive the brake setup is. I was so frustrated with them after training at neck break speeds with out breaks I got home, took them off and opened them up, took them apart and applied some oil, thinking it might help...well, I don't know if it did, I managed to put them together again, but they looked all lobsided and crooked...so I took them appart again and pulled the wire thingy a bit more to the left this time, Oooooo glory, not the thing is totally lobsided and only one side "pulls" in when I apply the brake, I'm really gatvol of this stupid brakes!! I'm taking them in to Mark today, he can figure the k@k out..
  12. I have brand new 266mm and 264mm revolution spokes, bought the wrong lenghts if they'd work on your build.
  13. I got the Skewers and the Mtb and Road Callipers / Brakes. The skewers open up by themselves on occation, the Brakes on the Mtb are very very sensitve and the callipers are lower than the normal Shimano goodies, so much so that it might rub against your tyre if it's got big nobbies. The road callipers are even worse, the brake strengh is really bad and as of late my back calliper pulls right and stays right against the f'ing rim, now I have to open it up all the way leaving me without bake brakes. You have been warned.
  14. So, do any one remember who the guys were taking the pics??
  15. Damn! How many ppl fell into those to sink holes!??! I only just made it across sitting 2de wheel at that stage and only saw it when I was on it, damn, was a close call, there should have been a Danger sign or some thing around those things, I did see one at the one hole but there were about 3 other holes without Warning.
  16. Thx GrootLem, that hurts! I was only looking so K@k cuz I was "pacing" myself ... it's actually harder going slow than going hard but I think I might have gone to slow for to long. Should have gone with Dick's bunch but I thought they might go a bit to hard for me. Anyways, was not that hard, actually thought it was pretty easy race, no really hard parts expect for one downhill section. Don't get me wrong, it was hard in that it was SH#T A$$ LONG. I did start to Cramp after about 115km's. Damn, I was feeling so k@k at about 118km. Me and one other bloke caught up to Samantha( 2de place lady ) and she was pulling one guy along and not before long she was pulling me and the other chappy along towards the end. I thought, "No f#cking ways" I'm letting her do all the work, so sitting 4th wheel I got out of the saddle to accelarate to the front only to start cramping again, so I sat myself down and just tried not to get dropped using the one leg. After a while I came right and went to the front. Have to say, I saw her last doing the Stellenbosch race and she looks like she lost a few killo's and looking really strong! Waterpoints was 5starts again this year, reading all the comments about the waterpoints I have to say they lived upto the high standards they have set for themselves last year, well done ladies and don't for get the guys lubing out chains! Gu's, Koeksisters, Banana's, Watermelon, Spur Burgers , Coke, PowerAde, you name it, I'm 2kg heaver today....thx...I think... :-P anyways, wanted a sub 7 and got it, did how ever not get my top 20, so will have to go back next year for that!Marius2009-01-19 05:54:36

  23. Weird, mine only does that when I "burped" the tyre, I then have to take it off and put it back on again. But some times it don't work, it's almost like the beads on the rim has worped / streched out and the wobble will not go away. Then I just buy a new tyre.
