  1. Fair enough. SA brand. Still think that they are bang for your buck. Then again, I pretty much rely on the entry-level bikes.
  2. Thanks for the feedback guys. It is a presta valve. I have filled the tyre up with new sealant and tried to re-inflate it with a foot pump. It still leaks all over the place. I have stopped pumping when everything starts leaking out. Should I just keep pumping till the leakage stops? I shall try the silicone sealant around the valve tomorrow. And yes, it is a rim strip with a valve.
  3. I like to support Silverback because it is South African made and bang for y ou buck. But that is just me. All my cycling safari rental bikes are Silverbacks

  10. My solution to adjusting a full-suspension bike: Buy a six pack of good beer. Download all relevant manuals for the shocks off the internet. Get comfortable and read the manuals (you will not understand half of what is being said!) Have somebody handy to hold the bike while you measure the SAG. Keep adjusting the shocks and then riding around the garden until you get the right feel. When all is done, drink the beer.

  23. Here is an idea: If the bicycle manufactures want to make more money then why don’t they invent a flimsy little piece that is easy to break and attach it between the frame and the derailleur
