Ther is an allen key slot. I tried that to no avail. I am truning in the right direction, checked with another peddle. Gonna go and try the boiling water option.

I am struggling to get one of my pedals off. I have now stripped my crappy pedal tool and taken all the skin off my fingers. Any suggestions? Tried to use a shifting spanner but I am scared of stripping the peddle. It is a crank bros.

I find it strange how so much money is spent on bikes, parts and then bling but yet a world-class bike park is not supported? I spend as little as possible on my bike, do my own maintenance and use that money saved to go on cycling-camping weekends. Just found a new reserve on Google Earth and will head out there this weekend with the bike and the tent. Call me crazy but I think that spending money on a well-built bike park is a good place to spend it.

I lived in Aspen, CO. The town bought a ton of bikes and made them freely available to the public. They also sold advertising on the bikes. Worked very well.

If you can find a 07 Silverback Alpine, buy it. Great bikes. I rent out ten of them and have had very few problems.

When I take more than 3 bikes then I put a blanket over the tailgate and hang the front wheels over the tailgate of my bakkie. If I carry 3 or less then I use my hitch bike carrier
