  1. Done neither, but entered both , so I can't comment. Rode 94.7 route yesterday from Zoo Lake to Kyasands, only one really tough climb, going up to the Randburg taxi rank. Warning to all, there is a terrible trench across Cumberland road near the top, I really hope they fix that.
  2. Chilli, please pass on the information. I'm also kinda interested.
  3. Good point, I need to find my passport and check if the visa is still valid.
  4. Very good. I must add after hearing "Los Lappie" on the Rude Awakening that there is something very strange about a rugby team who's supporters sing that and "Liefling" to one another.
  5. Well said Shaun. I must say I'm of the opinion that we should rather support people like CWC, until such time as the wholesalers either come to the party or go out of business. Also shop round, there are some great alternatives being brought in by Kiwi and TokenFreak.
  6. OK, pencil my name in. Will someone please post directions to start, times etc.

  10. Shaun, sorry about the hijack. But when you go into the shop won't you please mention the idea of a Hub open day to the boss. If she is keen, see if you can secure an early December date.
  11. Which portion of what lap? There was a lot of verbal abuse directed at myself.
  12. and contrary to popular believe, mountain bikes are capable of leaving the path and negotiating veld safely.
  13. Excellent post KDEE, a number of points where pertinent to my night racing experience at a different venue last night. Especially 14 . Important note, there is no such thing as having to much light on a night race.
  14. ooops markStockton2008-10-16 02:45:43
  15. Maybe you onto something Hog, maybe iDrive is the king pin behind a bike jacking syndicate and publicising the MO, hotspots etc is screwing his income.
  16. My son is looking for a training partner in the Fourways / Douglasdale / Bryanston area who is interested in joining him on afternoon training rides out to the Cradle.
  17. Shove it on the back seat with a blanket over it. The best is I leave with a migraine one day, arrive back the next limping and with stitches in my knee. Thats what I call a beast of a headache. Now I must rush off to Rietvlei. See you all tomorrow. Oh, and R2, you are on for Tuesday.
