  1. OK, but is Debbie still going to do Dallas?
  2. You make so many hasty exits, I'm not sure why you bother bringing a coat anymore.
  3. I'm MTB racing tonight
  4. We have the reverse in my house, I'd be the one siding with LBB.
  5. i agree. i'd keep it the way it is. If you going to ride it' date=' which you should being that it is a 'dale. You going to wear out the chainset eventually. Why not remove it and put it away. Turn it into an SS using cheap generic bits and if you ever want to restore it, you have all the bits stowed away somewhere. [/quote'] got two singlespeeds already (three if you count my bmx), so i'd use it just as a retro runaround. aicorner, i reckon, offer your mate R500 bucks, but please find out more about the r100. I'd agree on the R500.00 maybe going up to R 700.00.

  7. Yip we did the 12km' date=' and it was our first offroad race, MUCH better than riding on tar!!!! We will be doing the 35km on 16Dec though!!! [/quote'] Well done, I look forward to seeing you crazy lot on the 16th.
  8. It was ugly. Don't let me go into details.
  9. The tubless plugs can't repair all holes / cuts. And at some point using a tube is in the post....... Sorry, I should have elaborated on my chain of thought. I think it sounds like a good idea to pull the thorns. Because someday you going to be at the top of Babbas koppie with a flat, puffies closing in on all sides and you want to put a tube in quickly and get away. So my thinking was, pull the thorns as part of you post ride / race clean up process, but have a plugs available at the time. Just incase Stans / Joes isn't up to the job.
  10. Isn't this where one of those tubeless tyre repair kits comes in?
  11. Very nice. Next MTB event in Gauteng (apart from the night racing at Delta Park and Rietvlei this week) is the 94.7 MTB Challenge followed by Cradle to Cave. I think the next upgrade on mine will be a good 100mm shock.
  12. I think nearly all the cables and wire where there at the last race. It seems redistribution in that area is slower than oxidation. Anyone check to see if the electric fence is still live?
  13. Don't take cheap shots at manufacuters unless you qualify your statements. What is wrong with the Shimano products you have? I guess you mean apart from the local agents screwing the industry inside out. markStockton2008-11-03 07:00:36
  14. Are you talking about the dam where we cross using the wall? BTW - Did you hear what Andre said about the puffy's on the rocky koppie. He suggested no one get off their bike. Good incentive not to put a foot down . I also didn't see the water point. I don't think they put it out at this race.
